I went to the debut in LA and to another one in San Francisco. They're pretty great and I might go again. _________________

Holy ****ing **** that was amazing.
There were SO many people there the entire theatre was almost filled up. People of ALL colors and ages were there just to listen to Zelda music. I saw FREAKING grandpas whipping out their 3DS's! Girls dressing up as SS Zelda HNGH cutie!! And then of course, a bunch of people wearing Link hats, green shirts, and Zelda shirts. Some of you might be reading this and think "Well Sunny what do you expect? It's a Zelda event!" and I realize that but until now I took it for granted the kind of fanbase Zelda has. It just makes me happy to know that my favorite series in the whole world has so much love and recognition from all sorts of people.
And not to mention they sold good merchandise ($25 shirt and a $15 poster, $35 together). I will post a picture later because I actually bought them. I read on the website that we weren't allowed to bring food/drinks into the theatre so when the theatre opened, I threw away my food but then I realized they did in fact let people in with food and drinks. IDIOT SUNNY! Why didn't you just ****ing ask first instead of wasting food?!
Anyways whatever, the show starts and oh my god they opened up with the Zelda intro they played at E3 2011 and it was beautiful. I mean, even better in person that it sent chills down my spine I couldn't help but have short and subtle nerd-spasms. Oh yeah, the conductor would speak for us with a bit between each segment and right before the WW segment, she ****ing took out a real life version of WW Link's baton and said "My friends, let us make music" and the crowd got HYPED! I got HARD too!
The entire symphony was beautiful, especially Gerudo Valley. Anyways, they played the final piece and the composers responsible for translating Zelda music into orchestral arrangements came on and said "Okay guys, let's do one more" and it was Majora's Mask. The crowd got HYPED AGAIN and I got closer to climaxing but I wasn't quite there yet.
Anyways, that piece finished and I thought "Man that was a great concert" but HOLD ON A MINUTE! They weren't ****ing done yet! The same composers went back on and said "Let's do another one, this time Dragon Roost Island!" and people RAISED THE ROOF! I was on the verge of climaxing but I had to hold it in just a little longer!!
So that ended, and I thought "Wow could this get any better?!" and it DID! The composers came back on and they said "Let's do one last one: a beautiful arrangement of the Ballad of the Goddesses from the Skyward Sword" and then I FREAKING CAME RIGHT THERE IN MY PANTS! I didn't even bother hiding it because people next to me were also jizzing in their pants.
It was beautiful. Would go again. _________________ Support XSEED | Listen to Falcom music | Do life the right way
