Never played much GG before now, so this looks like as good a time as any to really start. The 3D graphics look pretty sick. I actually thought they were really nice looking sprites at first, so I don't mind the switch.

Okay so I knew that Guilty Gear making a comeback would look good...But ****. ASW, I have to stand up and **** applaud this.
It really seems like a culmination of the stuff that they've been doing this gen as well. The HD sprites, the 3D backgrounds, stuff like Battle Fantasia. This is the payoff, and good lord.
BTW anybody who still has a 360, there's an ASW sale on right now.

Thanks for the tip! I was going to get the Vita version of GGwtf+bbq, but apparently it doesn't have online nor does it have ad-hoc party support. Anyways, $9 is pretty sweet for that game.

900 MSP is actually 11.25 (80 MSP is $1.)
Also I just realized that the title is probably X + third. So, Guilty Gear, Guilty Gear X, Guilty Gear XX, and Guilty Gear Xrd.

The Canadian rate is more like 70 MSP for $1, but I paid $40 for 4000 MSP -- screw that exchange rate.

Ky's hair looks ridiculous and "Sol Badguy" is still an awful name. But count me happy to see the series come back...
did they deliberately make the 3D look like 2D frames??? I'm confused.

Uses 3D models but uses the same animation frames as the 2D sprites, which makes them feel like they are sprites.
It's pretty damn impressive. |

Just because I like a few Queen songs doesn't mean I'm gonna smother over a name. And IIRC, my beef is with the "Badguy" part which isn't related to Queen.
If anything, I love the numerous rock/metal tie-in's that "Millia Rage" has stacked on her.
