Which game do you think had the most detailed synopsis? and do you actually take the time to read new entries?

I think that one of the best ones had to have been Abyss. The diary format that Luke made was interesting and funny sometimes and was pretty detailed.

I didn't really like Vesperia's. The logs set up like a newspaper were interesting but didn't have as much detail.

Hearts's one was awesome. It was a diary, like in Abyss, but all characters took turns to write in it and sometimes added their own comments, then others commented on those comments and it could be very funny Laughing

I wish I could've seen that xD

Did the "handwriting" change depending on the person?

Legendia has the same thing.

Pretty much, my favourite synopsis were the ones from Legendia and Hearts for the reasons mentioned xD They're the only ones I took the time to read (In Hearts' case look up the translation for) As long as it looks like one of the characters wrote it, I did love reading them.

I didn't read them at all in Graces until my second playthrough since I played it off and on and forgot where I was xD

Legendia because of the personalized entries by each party member. It gives it more life and provides a better perspective of what goes on in the character's minds.

I constantly forget the games even have these. Unless you stopped playing the games for a long time I fail to see the reason to look at them.

I'm inclined to agree. I'd rather a small "?" at the bottom of the screen that maybe gives you the objective, but unless they personalize it (like with the characters writing it), no point.
