OOOooo yeyey~ I can't wait for them to post up where we can get it in the US :3 The figurine looks really nice and an art book and music CD (I didn't even notice the latter when I first saw it) ~ _________________

What is this? It's almost like they care about the US fans. There has to be a catch.
*Edit*
Oh, well, there's the catch. $40 for an art book, music CD, and a meh figure (the other Milla one is better). Plus, it's likely to end up Gamestop only, meaning tax + no discounts from gold box or the like. |

If I understood correctly, it's the Day One Edition that'll be in participating stores. I -think- the Collector's Edition will also get a site for ordering, too. I think, anyway. (There's a drop down menu for the US in the site) _________________

What's the difference between a Day One Edition and the Collector's Edition, then? I'm not seeing any specifications for a Day One Edition. |

Collector's Edition, Day One Edition
Pretty much what Yume said. _________________

Oh good, we're actually getting a collector's edition, and no blood had to be spilled to get it. Plus "participating retailers", meaning **** you, Digital River!
They're actually learning! _________________

Now Day One Edition I can get behind, if they bring it to the US. Any word on that, since the image provided is European?
Also, anyone else find it odd they haven't mentioned anything about Pre-Order costumes yet? |

Not sure if they're costumes, but there are pre-order bonus DLCs announced. _________________

The site for the Collector's Edition lists its book as having 100 pages while the pic for the Day One Edition says 52...so I'm guessing it'll have a thicker book, too unless the Day One Edition is counting how many physical sheets of paper are in it while the Collector's Edition is counting them front and back. but that'd be silly.
The EU preorder bonuses are the Cress and Stahn costumes for Jude and Milla, along with the theme (and both of the limited editions come with them). Nothing on the NA bonuses yet, but I don't doubt they'll be the same. _________________

Please don't say that. The Alter figure, I'm assuming the one you're talking about retails at around $90-$100. Sooo.... unless you want to pay an extra sixty dollars, then I think we're getting something pretty sweet. _________________ Updated Feb, 22,'13~!! *

Yeah, I was talking about Alter's. And going by AmiAmi's price of 7000 yen and current conversion rates (pretty much 1 cent to 1 yen right now), that'd only be another $30. That isn't too bad.
That being said, even though it's not as good as the Alter one, it's still probably the best figure the US has gotten as an attachment to a game, movie, or series from Japan. |
