| So is Xillia 2 alot more free-roam than Xillia. Are you pretty much able to choose who's character quests you want to do in any order and are you able to complete the game without finishing everything. Or does the game follow a linear path and it goes through the character's stories for you and you have all information by the end of the game? |

1. As long as said quests are available and not cut off for story reasons, yes.

The story progresses is a linear manner and more sidequests and hunts open each episode, but you can freely explore the entire world of the first game pretty early in _________________
