Wow. **** wow. There isn't much I can add to that.
Microsoft needs to realize that the PS4 looks pretty appetizing for existing Xbox owners. Why? Well, it has no backwards compatibility, right? That means, if you don't have a PS3, you aren't really losing anything in the transition.
If Microsoft's still going to insist on fees for Xbox Live, the rumoured always-on connection and used game prevention, even the PS4's social **** won't deter gamers from switching. I'd also say that ignoring backwards compatibility is just as noteworthy considering that the PS4 has revealed that card already.
Microsoft's got a lot to lose if all these horrible rumours are true. _________________

Well **** that **** I ain't getting this console regardless of the titles." It's more like something people would make fun of but it won't affect decisions not to buy the console. But anyways, I digress.
Between the childish "deal with it" hashtag and his douchey responses like "electricity also goes out", it's clear that this guy is an asshole. I don't know how much backlash this tweet is receiving but this is not how a business or a representative of a company should behave in public. It's like people are unaware about the repercussions of their actions in the digital age nowadays. _________________ Support XSEED | Listen to Falcom music | Do life the right way

But we also don't know how deep the rabbit hole goes. Social networking is clearly a focus for Sony right now, so I doubt that we've seen everything. _________________

Wow that's showing some major disconnect when it comes to them and us the consumers. Just. Wow. _________________

? I'm a little confused how this is related. Sony did show off some social aspects (streaming, a friend taking over your controller, etc) but I don't see how that is bad or offensive like this is? When people groan at "social gaming," they're thinking of stuff like Farmville _________________ Gaming in 2013:

Me neither. They sound like some of my younger (high school) friends on twitter. Grow up. _________________ Gaming in 2013:

I see no need to buy anything next gen.
-WiiU looks like a pointless and clunky update to the Wii, with graphical enhancements my TV is incapable of displaying.
-PS4 is all about social nonsense when I like to keep my singleplayer and RPG gaming to myself.
-Xbox won't work if internet goes down and has all this other bullcrap tied in.
-Vita has a touchscreen on the back. _________________ The ember is dust before the wind... |

Now outrage toward this I can get behind.
I never really cared about next gen consoles not having BC. |

I don't get this backward compatibility **** either.
People who own a PS3 will most likely buy a PS4 and I think this works for any console.
PS2 have bc, but it's horrible when you are playing a game with any kind of 3D in it, not to mention the games that doesn't even work properly. _________________

Weird I never had any issue with PS2 BC nor PS3 but this is coming from someone who owns a gen1 PS3.
Honestly though, it is a bit irritating that PS4 won't have BC but it's something I can live without in the short run. In the long run, it's seriously going to **** suck to track down a gen1 once the one I've got craps out though.
I get the emulation costs are way too much for it to be supported so don't get me wrong. D: _________________
