Well, what do we do? We've been getting really lucky with an increase in Tales support in the States. So what do we do to keep that? As fans, consumers, customers?

Buy 5 copies? Smile

Seriously though, just spread the word, support by buying the games, and try our best to introduce newcomers to the series.

Spread the word to people you think might like it, is the best thing you can do. Putting Xillia stuff in signatures at non-Tales forums might also help, a little.

If you like the game, write positive reviews on sites that allow it.

Sad to say it'd be kind of hard for us consumers to do this. Word of mouth is probably the best way to go about it, but I personally don't know that many people interested in this series. Online, those that know the series are already either fans, or feel like Tales just isn't for them. It's a niche series, and it's simply harder for us consumers to help popularize it when the Publisher itself isn't even fully committed to doing it. It all comes down to how Bamco will handle it. I barely even remember any ads for Graces F last year, though they're sort of doing a better job in Xillia's case now. For a niche series, a commercial would probably be out of the question, but placing ads on gaming sites, etc is definitely doable. If they went about the way Nintendo did when they helped pushed Symphonia, "Tales of" could still definitely be big here. They dropped the ball on the Feb 4th "announcement" though. That was a perfect opportunity to try and get fans hyped up on ToX even more, and possibly entice some new ones.

Hopefully Bamco decides to release an LE of sorts, like they did for Graces F's EU release. I'll definitely buy one along with a regular edition.

Buy both a US and EU copy Wink and try to refrain buying a Japanese copy since that only fuels their thoughts that JPN only releases generate more then enough profit.

I DID buy both the ToX and ToV copies tho, so guess that makes me a big hypocrite. "tell youre friends!" is the best thing to do I guess.

You can also use social media. There are ToX localization projects. Not only do they keep you posted on all the news, but it also allows you to be aware of polls and answering them in a way that supports Tales releases in the west is a good way to help imo.

Whenever Xillia gets released go to your local vydia stores ASAP. And, by every FF13/FF13-2 boxart gets to traffic your sight, grab all TOX & Ni no Kuni copies you see, then proceed to put them in front of them.

Do the same thing with every Lighting Returns copy but this time with TOX 2--if it gets localized&released--ones.

This will not just help TOX sales but to actually adjust player's demands on high-tier Jrpgs instead of casualized COD fans-appealing ones.

And get you booted out of the store for messing with their products...lol

It really just comes down to buy the games, and introduced interested newcomers to it.

I've asked the PS3 board and the ToX2 board on GameFAQs if they would support it.

I've started promoting by annotating/placing a video description on my most viewed tales videos (Kratos Unknown mode, Abyssion Mania). According to the stats, I get dozens of views each day. It helps if you have a lot of people following your videos in views, subscription, whatever it is.

Having a thousand subscribers doesn't sound like much, but I know for certain I've gotten quite a number of people into the series just by uploading. Also, I'll be doing a playthrough of the game sometime after release. So that may help contribute.
