Gankutsuou, for doing an anime original ending despite being an adaptation of a 150 year old novel. It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't as good as the original so I really have no idea why they would change it.
Natsuyuki Rendezvous, for rushing to an idiotic happy ending that didn't make any sense or feel properly 'earned' by the characters.

people watch school days because they already know the ending

ha ha ha Kite's ending is hilarious because it's implied the guy got shot in the face and then the same assassin shot the main girl in the face too.

And as much wtf as this inspires, the actual End of Evangelion is much crazier.
