don't get it, get White Knight Chronicles II (2). The sequel comes packed with a remastered and overall better edition of the first game, from what I heard. I never played these games though so I'm only really relaying advice from other sources. _________________

It's ... okay. If you do actually buy it after you're finished borrowing it, buy 2 as Archer suggested. It includes everything from the first game (aside from a couple of non-essential legacy chests) and a lot more. Georama is a good bit of fun, combat is okay, it's nice collecting different armors, and building the experimental knight in the second part is enjoyable, but the story is only occasionally interesting and marred by cruddy dialogue, the party is really unbalanced since only some of the characters get knights, the difficulty is really wonky, gaining guild ranks is insanely grindy, and I never found the online aspect very enticing aside from showing off my georama. _________________

I really enjoy the game. I agree with Lunar that the plot and characters are kinda bland, but the gameplay is pretty solid, especially in the remastered edition included in WKC2. _________________

The customization when it comes to your character is pretty extensive too. But be forewarned, as like others have said it can get pretty grindy in some areas. _________________
