Does anyone know if Vita is supposed to be compatible with all PSOne classics? I have FFV downloaded on my PS3, and wanted to put it on my Vita.

Of course, after checking the PSN store, that game seems to be the one PSOne FF that for whatever reason, cannot be played on Vita. Anyone know what's up with that?

Sony hates Butz's adventure.

I like V and VI VERY MUCH out of all the FFs though.

Unfortunately, not all of them are compatible. Sony continues to update PSone and PSP games as Vita-compatible in batches every few weeks.

dammit.

Hopefully FFV gets fixed soon. Having it portable would make it easier for me to play.

There are a lot of PS1 games that can be transferred to your Vita via your PS3. Unfortunately, this unofficial list says you can't transfer it that way. Sad

Have you ever heard of this mythical device called the Game Boy Advance?

Yeah, but I'm not buying the game again.

I'll just wait until it becomes compatible or maybe the summer, when I'll have time and access to my PS3.

This is not the same thing but I don't want to make another topic just for this question: does someone who has a Vita knows if we can buy some games like Tales of the world Radiant Mithology 3, Tales of Rebirth and Tactics Ogre for it?

Well Vita doesn't have a UMD drive, so you can't play any PSP games that weren't released on PSN (Tales of Rebirth never made it to PSN).

As for whether Vita supports all PSP games that are on PSN ... I think so?

Yeah, I was wondering about these games being on the PSN or not. I can't visit the store myself... because I don't have vita to see it XD
Anyway, thanks for the help Flamfas!

seconding this. the GBA version is great. Nice translation, great presentation, better loading times, it's hammy as can be which suits FFV perfectly, etc.

I tried playing the PSX/SNES versions of the games and I can't get into them. They just feel old and outdated and aren't nearly as enjoyable as their GBA (or PSP, in the case of IV) counterparts. I had the PSX versions of IV-VI sitting around for years and could never get into them, but the moment I picked up the GBA ones I was hooked and blasted through the three.

I can't really see many people who aren't already fans of the series finishing the PSX version of V.

Wait. Is the GBA version not just a port of the PSX version?
