I hope they do Kimera Ants this time.

how is this **** even running in Shounen Jump?
the amount of twisted **** that would disturb pretty much anyone makes FMA look tame by comparison

i think that might be a bit different, plus like ruin said that was a long time ago.
The Ant arc of Hunter X Hunter is actually **** disturbing. The closest thing I can compare it to is that it has creations like the Nina arc in FMA except way worse. I was actually reading it and almost wondering how it got published in a shounen magazine. It's that twisted and brutal.
I really can't wait to see how Madhouse handles it, it's way darker than Yorknew.

I had serious problems with the Ant arc because it was so disturbing =/
I'm not going to spoil anything, but let me say that the end isn't any less disturbing. I'm guessing the following arc will be equally body-horror-ifying, but I haven't read ever since.

i didnt have any problems with it
in fact i loved it
a real page turner
really gave a different perspective on Gon, too, it's hard to see him the same after that
also the Ant King was an amazing villain with fantastic character development
(i finished it last night)

I was a little bothered by it, but I agree with you on these points. The Ant King is an amazing character. I also really liked the boardgame they were playing.
I still don't think I'm going to pick it up again though...

| Dropping in to say that I've been catching up with the 2011 anime, and I'm at the beginning of Greed Island. HxH is the best anime I have seen in awhile, and I recommend it to anyone who has neglected it because they think it might be typical shounen. Push past the first five or so episodes, and I guarantee that you will love it. |
