Known by multiple names such as the Steam Box, Valve has announced a partnership with a hardware company called Xi3Corporation to develop a modular PC specifically with playing Steam games in Big Picture mode in mind.

I assume the whole "modular" bit is them saying that they're gonna try and make it dirt-simple to upgrade the thing in the future. It'll be interesting if Valve sticks with this company or if they partner up with a bunch of people, because like the last sentence of the article reads, this might not be the only Sauna available this year.
I'm interested in getting one for my living room, personally, but I don't think I'd ever replace my consoles with one.
