Rich, I know you were a little confused about why people were saying Tales Forums weren't fixed. I'm making this post to let you know exactly what happened. Please pass the info / a link to this page along to the web development team!

On November 8, 2012, the forums went down (you later told us it was because the forum was getting TLC) and were inaccessible.

On November 13, the forums came back online. However, they were not as they were before they went down. The forums were restored to the state they were in on March 10, 2011.

What does that mean? When the forums came back online, we had lost all posts and topics made between March 11, 2011 and November 8, 2012. That's one and a half years of forum history, erased. Some of those topics still had vital information we were discussing!! Also, members who joined during that time had their accounts deleted. In essence, the forums went back in time to March 2011. It seems that when the forums came back online, it was through a backup of the site made in March 2011, rather than through the current state of the forums when they went down on November 8, 2012.

What we would like is for the forums to be restored to how they were on November 8, 2012. We realize that may involve deleting all posts/topics made between November 13, 2012 and now, but we are ok with that. Forumers in general have been apprehensive to post much, because we expected progress to be erased while we were waiting for the forums to be fully restored. Also, losing a week of posts is far preferable to losing 1.5 years of irreplaceable forum history. Look for the following quote to be posted in following posts:
