Deathwing returns on December 7th, bringing along some werewolves and goblins. I already pre-ordered the CE, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to jump back into WoW. I have a few friends that are already playing, but I've been resisting.

I pre-ordered mine a few months ago... I should see about switching to the CE.
I just recently went Horde so I could play with friends, even though I hate the Horde. >_> Oh well, Thanks for model editors. ;D

Arthas actually did villain things. illidan was just some half demon guy who mostly moped around and made random threats and was jealous of his brother so he ran away.
Arthas bothered to try to lure your party to him at the peak of their power, purely to kill them and was only foiled by deus ex machina/you screwing with his sword.

Arthas was made the main villain in the events of Warcraft 3 and TFT. He's dead. Game over.

Yes, because there were no games before WC3 with villains who didn't die. Also the old gods and the burning legion are still around and have been since WC3 and frankly, were the bigger bads. The burning legion is responsible for the lich king even existing.
Arthas was a major villain, and by far one of the most popular, but he's far from the only one, and he was distinctly not the most powerful.

There were more events prior to than just from WC3 outlaw, just because that's prolly the only Warcraft RTS you played doesn't mean WoW should end the storyline there.
