http://www.unitedfortales.org/

Brian mentioned making a separate thread for this, so, here it is.

What is UFT, you ask?

Well, it's a fan-made website with the purpose of introducing new fans to Tales of Graces f and getting as many people as possible to buy the game!

What can you do?

Currently, the website is still under construction, but banners would be appreciated!

Banner Contest!

-Deadline for submissions is over. Voting should occur soon at UFT (not here).

Yay, and Judgement124 said something about a banner contest! I won't lie; I'm pretty excited. It's been a while since I've done graphic work for the fun of it.

Can't wait to see the site grow and get awesome!

Man, I can definitely see why United For Tales has been touted as a way for Tales to fight for localisation! The design is state-of-the-art and the sheer amount of content is staggering. Colour me impressed!

Weird...I coulda sworn someone replied "It's under construction" to this in the Graces topic...

But yeah I may work on something too =)

Yeah. I mean, I know it's still in progress, but there's not much, at all, to suggest that it's been worked on much. You'd think they'd have more after having talked about it for all this time ...

I'd be interested on making a banner.
I'll draft something up, when I get the time that is.

Can't argue much, it is just one guy.

Once we get more people on board, we can go from there and promote upgrading.

The first time I saw it is the first time you saw it though.

And for the banner contest; I decided to make it a 3 week time period, starting today.

Winner gets the banner right on the page and a 15 dollar gift card to a store of their choice.

In all seriousness, I don't know much about Websites and the such, but there seems to be a lot of people interested in making banners, instead of making it a competition, why not let people contribute, and have it randomly rotate through different banners? If that's even possible, like a random banner generator thing.

This site has been hyped up for weeks as, essentially, a 'last chance' for Tales in the West. All they have to show for it is a site that looks like it took twenty minutes to make. If this is the work ethic behind the site I have to say I'm not very optimistic.

At times like this, I wish I still had photoshop, but alas, it died on along with my old computer. D;

Anyhoo, the site looks like it'd be pretty cool once it's done

A competition is an exciting concept. People love to be able to compete, and see how well they did in the eyes of their peers.

Don't worry, we'll have a place dedicated for every banner made.

On a side note, WE NEED WEBSITE HELP!

I honestly thought it was farther myself, but it is just one dude working on it. I need a team willing to help him. Any help at all in this regard will help out greatly.

Updated with contest details in first post. Just need an email/twitter/facebook/etc to submit entries to. Also, criteria? (dimensions, must contain, etc?)

Working on that right now.

If you want to send it to me before the sites' up, send it to my email address at kmdist2442@hotmail.com. Or my facebook at kylemils@eden.rutgers.edu.

Dimensions won't be that picky, around 1200 x 800. As long as it fits comfortably on that page's header, I'm not going to be adamant about it. This is about creativity after all.
