I think it makes cooking faster to master, but that's a guess.

I created it and have had it for a good while now...only like the TC I have no freaking idea what's it's for.
Oh and TC your avatar is a tad too big for the forums, it must be 100x100 or less just so you know.

I think it may have a higher percentage of your food actually be cooked properly or increases the effectiveness ie. increase in HP/TP/Stat Bonuses. Or may be required for a subevent like in Abyss. |

Close enough. The knife increases your chances of successful cooking of recipes.

What are the materials needed to synth this?
I am missing a material obviously since it isn't showing up on my synth list.
I'm at the Arena right now so I am sure I can synth that by now.. if I had the mats.
