Haven't much of this series yet, but I've noticed I dislike every "young" superhero series safe for Teen Titans, so I don't have much hope for it.

Watched all available episodes so far, and I think it's cool. It has more action than Teen Titans, that's good for me. So far I think the new Aqualad is cool. I like how his superpower is basically a water version of Green Lantern (using his.. plasma, water? To shape into physical weapons and such).
I usually don't dislike any member of a superhero team, and that's no exception here, but I will say that my favorite is Megan (only during the times she's not making my ears bleed with "Hello, Megan!"), and my least fave is Superboy, but that's probably not his fault yet since all they've allowed him to do on the show is be a constant meatshield.

I have to say, Robin and Kid Flash are way and beyond my favourite. They're hilarious in their immaturity. That and I can't get enough of Robin's giggle when he joins a fight.

Fans were amused the juxtaposition of Robin's traits being "most experienced" and "immature" in his profile on the website. XD;; He's only 13, after all.
And Wally is 15. lol. Wally is such a hormonal teen. >o>;;
As for Robin's giggling, it's really adorable to me for some reason. XD;; Someone in a community I lurk in said something about "not growing up" being his tactic to escape the insanity that would come with fighting crime in Gotham (while Batman's is to grow up right away). Just a thought, it's not confirmed or anything, but it makes sense, haha.

Watched "Schooled" and "Denial" pretty good, I must say, but I'm sad Scott Menville doesn't voice Robin (but it's not the same Robin as Teen Titans, so it makes sense) and Cyborg doesn't voice Aqualad (he's voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, what's up with that? XD). Made even more hilarious because the day before I watched my first episode of Young Justice, I watch two episode of Justice League Unlimited in which a group of villains called "The Wild Cards" are introduced and they are all voiced by Teen Titans members.
Man, was Superboy annoying in "Schooled" and why the hell can't he fly? I hope he's not like that all the time. Aqualad's powers are awesome. Kid Flash becoming Doctor Fate for a few minutes was pretty awesome, the voice was badass. |
