Some characters are really out there, though, and it'd be a huge challenge to make them realistic whilst still remaining true to their roots. Like Poison Ivy* or Mr. Freeze.

Given. Seems improbable, but not impossible. Ivy could just be, what she essentially is, an extreme bio terrorist, with deadly looks to boot. Just blow s***, and say a flower told her to. Freeze would be more of a challenge, they could either use word play and simply make him a criminal with a heartless and "cold" demeanor, or do something with ice just ... not "freezing gotham". These are just ideas out of my ass, so, don't judge too harshly lol.
Then again this is in general why I'm not gonna throw a tissy fit if it ain't too realistic. I can think of many ways to tweak many of Batman's rogues, it'd just take time. And a decent story.
Ah well, no matter how good a performance someone could pull off, I don't think the world is ready for a Mr. Freeze who ain't willing to "Kick some ICE".
... I could settle for a decent Bane though. Christ. <_< _________________

Couldn't Freeze work if they went the TAS route and kept him as serious as he was portrayed there.
I mean Arnold's large ham performance really shouldn't keep Victor from being seen as a serious and compelling character from any future Bat films. _________________ *Sig by WarriorAngel01*

I don't know... I mean, that works, but I feel that Poison Ivy is too tied to the supernatural to be properly adapted into a realistic setting. Like, even if she's seductive, big on plants, etc... she just isn't Poison Ivy without plant control.
It may just be me.

For sure.

He's still a man with a cryogenic suit and an ice gun. I just can't see him fitting into the Nolanverse at all, given how realistic it tries to be— I mean, the Joker had make-up instead of bleached skin. _________________

Yeah, I gotta go with Conn there. Bat TAS was the first to make Freeze into a serious and compelling character. Enough to give him his own f***ing animated movie (which I gotta see again, cuss I don't remember much about it). But, yeah, I don't think the transition from how the Dark Knight series is now, could handle something involving "Ice Guns". The concept itself is old school and cartoony. Which worked fine in TAS since that world also had an immortal Rahs Al Ghul, Clayface, etc. If Nolan wanted Freeze I'm sure he could find a way to fit him into his "for realz" Gotham. Until then, we're just drawing straws. _________________

I think Baby Doll could work into Nolan's Batman universe but I doubt it would happen though. She has a disease where her body doesn't age. Baby Doll may look cartoony but I think Nolan can pull it off to make it as a frightening little girl doing some damage. I wouldnt see her as a main villian though. I think it would be cool to see that happen.

Anne Hathaway is Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman), Tom Hardy is Bane. _________________

There's a really disgusting joke I could make here.
It involves Cheria sometime after having Asbel's babby. |

Pretty much. As much as I like Bane I've always found his get-up ridiculous. _________________
