It's not supposed to be scary. Gruesome, but not scary. I haven't read the comics, though my brother has. I expected people here would have read the comics too since a lot of people here seem to be into comics. Guess I was wrong... I didn't get to see the second episode (and now third lol) but i liked the first episode.
PS I think the main character was out for about a week. Or however long his IV medication was running. Apparently long enough to be in the dark. I don't think it's unusual that his wife and child believe him to be dead. I think his partner might have thought him dead too. Everyone is trying to survive.
There are far more worse things to worry about than zombies. People will turn against each other...

Pilot season? My only guess, heh. But I'm sure a lot will be packed in within six episodes.

The third episode was really good. There seems to be a lot of tension brewing up between certain characters. I haven't cared about a show this much since Dragon Ball Z; waiting for the next episode took forever and once again I feel that pain.  |

Tonight's episode was crazy, especially the ending.  This show continues deliver with each episode. I hate waiting for Sundays now. |

I'm going to pretend the last five minutes didn't happen, they all stayed in the bunker, and that was the ending to the Walking Dead TV series.
Just because it would have made the show that much more ballsy and unique.

Good god, I know exactly how you feel. Waiting until October is going to feel like an eternity. I am just thankful that Andrea and Dale decided to leave the bunker. I adore those those two characters the most in the show; wouldn't have felt right if they stayed. |

I agree with you.
Also, I'm quite curious to know what Dr. Jenner [really] told Rick before he left? I have a feeling it has something to do with Shane and Lori. A place with that much security must have a camera located in each of the rooms. Jenner overlooked the surveillance cameras and let Rick know of the situation. That, or told him where the next possible place to visit would be.
That's my guess, anyway. |
