It was nice, but the lack of scares was a bit disappointing. There were some opportunities to setup some fright. Like when the guy is escaping the hospital or when the zombie mom comes over.

I agree or where they could of had the zombie mom come inside the house while they were at the sheriff station and when he was looking at the pictures she could of started walking up from behind him in the room...

Thats not the point of this show though. Walking Dead isn't meant to be a horror series. It's a tv drama in a post apocalyptic zombie setting you're not really going to get scares from this show. |

That's not the way AMC was selling this show during their constant barrage between Mad Men segments. If Don Draper was here, he would be able to convince zombies to turn vegan.

What I want to know is just how long he was out, and why his wife would move onto someone else so quick, and not just anyone but his BEST friend.
Gahhhh, ho should get shot. I don't care if you need someone to 'lean' on, you can lean on someone and leave it completely platonic then move on at least like 6 months after. I already feel bad for the main character.
I hope she gets eaten. Really.

I enjoy what they're doing with this show. The premier was quite entertaining. I'm glad they're not simply going for "ooh scary zombies!". In fact, the more emotional parts of the episode were well done.

Same! When she held out her hand I felt like she wanted help/sympathy. In reality, she wishes he would have been closer to bite him. I'm enjoying the emotional state of the show rather than the "ahhh scary zomb13z" that we are so used to. |
