Who would you want to be playable?

Just to spark up some discussion here, youngsters. If you could pick a character to play as (ignore story), who would it be?

Well, if we're to put aside story, Legretta would probably be fun to play as. Maybe Sync, too— Daathic Artes could be neat.

Arietta's just another spellcaster.
Legretta would be fun, Sync and Largo too imo.

Would havee been cool to have Noelle playable too (I mean, she's with the party all the time, but we barely see her, which is a pity).

Legretta seems most likely to be meaningfully distinct from the rest of the cast, so that's where my vote goes. Sync would play too much like Guy (Fast, short ranged melee) and Arietta, as mentioned, would be stupid boring, being just a mashup of Natalia and Anise's spell lineups with essentially no actual attacks to speak of.

Largo might be interesting though, since the game doesn't really have a big slow bruiser character.

Seriously, I would've loved to be able to play as Legretta. Playing as Dist or at least one of his robots would be a fun experience, as well...

I think it would have been interesting if Sync had joined the party when Ion asked him too, but I understand why he didn't.
On the whole, I wish Ion had been playable.
