Need your help for my upcoming RP idea fellow Role Players.

Yo peeps it's Nero once more (Or xReplica now but w/e). So as the title suggests I have an idea for an RP that I have been brainstorming on for the past month but I wanted to add a little feature to it that I thought might be fun.

So I'm sure some people here will have made a character in the past for an RP which they were particularly fond of but had to bid farewell to them due to the fact the RP either ended or died. I'm one of those people, as there are a few of my own characters I was sad to see die along with an RP (not pointing any in particular out but you know who you are) who developed a lot or I was just upset that I never got to use them to their full potential.

Just so you know what you are getting yourself into, here is a brief summary of the story/universe this RP will be set around.

Story Overview:

The universe as we know it is made of up of many sections split apart called 'Dimensions' which were constructed through the means of a 'Big Bang', formed from the very fabric of life itself known as 'Aeraessence'. While this substance has mutated and twisted throughout the many Dimensions, there is one where it has remained in it's purest form.

The inhabitants of this Dimension are called Origo, humanoid creatures that live for hundreds of years and have dedicated their lives to making sure the Universal balance is not upset by misuse of Aeraessence. They were the first creatures to discover its potential power and how it was the life-blood for all the other Dimensions out there. They are as of the present day the only ones who know life exsists outside their own Dimension, scattered throughout the Universe.

However, a young member of the Origo by the name of Coma has since risen to power following on from the death of the former leader of the Origo, Crepusculum. Coma has since caused a dark cloud to drift over the ways of the Origo, the planets in the Dimension slowly being locked off one-by-one.

Coma's brother, Atrum, decided that his sibling's law was no longer acceptable and sought to challenge her to the right to the throne. Alas, he was defeated by Coma's vast army and badly injured forcing him to retreat to his own planet where his castle stands as the last line of defence. Outnumbered and with everyone in his own Dimension against him, Atrum knew he was left with little other choice.

He was going to rouse an army made of beings of considerable power, beings that emitted a wave of Aeraessence so strong it was detectable from even Light Years away. Atrum gathered the last of his strength and uttered an incantation which ripped down the invisible walls of the Dimensions and tugged on the hearts of the ones it managed to reach.

The people it chose were snatched away from their own homes in an instant, now on their way to a new Dimension and possibly a whole new adventure.

So one of the themes I am adding to this RP is allowing any poster to use a character they have previously used in another RP in the past with the following exceptions:

- The character(s) must be a OC, no Lloyd Irvings and what-not.
- The character(s) must be sufficient in combat to the extent they stand out among others.
- The character(s) you choose will have to eventually agree to be part of the war of the Origo, otherwise there will be little point in actually using them.

The reason I have posted this pre-idea topic is to hear people's thoughts and opinions on the matter before I actually start the whole thing running. While I encourage recycling in this RP, this does not mean you will not be allowed to make an OC if you so wish. You can even make an Origo character if you so wish, but if you do so they will most likely be on Coma's side.

I have added a poll but I would also like to hear your opinions on the matter too. If you like, you can claim which character's you want/may be using once more if you decide to join this RP when I start up the Sign-Ups. I will keep track of them, but for now lemme' hear you scream your opinions.

Q&As:

I'll add to this if anyone has a question, but I'll list some of the common ones I can think of.

Q: What exactly do Origo's look like and what are their abilities?

A: The Origo (Singular/Plural Noun) are not too different from an average human, except their bodies are near void of 'flaws' and their age rate is ten times slower to ours (So an average lifespan of one may live to 700-800). Males always have hair of dark blue or navy while the females have purple-pink or dark purple. Their skin is considerably pale in most cases and they often have more waxier features. They possess the same reproductive systems that humans have, but their pregnancies last a whole year rather than nine months.

While Origo have a sub-section of 'magic' at their disposal, their direct involvement with the purest Aeraessence gives them the ability to effect space and dimensions to an extent. While most lies dormant, the Origo who have descended from the first Origo to be born (M'Daa and E've) have a much greater control over this power and posses the ability to effect dimensions on a mediocre stage. These descendants are always chosen to be the next leaders among the Origo.


Q: Define Aeraessence better.

A: Aeraessence is, in short, the essence of life itself. It was created in the 'Big Bang' at the start of the Universe, spreading throughout the worlds within the Dimensions and slowly encouraging life to sprout up, starting with simple Plants and Bacteria. Aeraessence has 'mutated' throughout its spread across the Universe, changing depending on the current atmosphere it surrounds itself in.

Some have referred to it as 'Mana', 'Essence' or many other terms throughout history, but the sub-sections all descended from Aeraessence. The source is a power of both magical and one of the will to live itself. While it encourages the birth of 'magic' on some planets, on others it may just be the manifestation of 'willpower' inside of someone or something. Without Aeraessence there would be no life in the Universe, it is a source all living beings rely on even if they do not know of it.


Q: How will my character breath when they get to Orgio's Dimension?

A: This will actually be fully explained in the RP, but your character won't be suffocated when they get to the Dimension I'll explain now. Atrum thought in advance before bringing outside beings to this Dimension, but even with his precautions it will be a short while before your character is able to breath 'normally'.


Q: What is the Origo's Dimension called?

A: Primoris. Named after M'Daa's and E've's first born child.


Q: Do Dimensions=/=Galaxies in this?

A: Yes, 'Dimensions' is the term the Origo use to describe the individual Galaxies in the Universe, feel free to have your character's bicker/debate with them about this. Each Galaxy/Dimension is separated by a 'wall' of sorts which protects one from clashing into the other, set up by an incantation of the eldest Origo to aid in the balance of Aeraessence in the Universe.


Q: Are there many planets in the Dimension/Galaxy of Primoris?

A: Yes, there are a large number of them all scattered around with varying distances from the Sun (Ignis) which all all inhabited by the Origo and possess the same (or at the least similar) atmosphere.

I'll join in, and the concept is pretty sound too, but I need to know something first. The character I wish to use is not human, and is more mechanical than organic; this won't be an issue, will it?

this seems like a great idea, although i am pretty new to the RP community (ive only made 2 charecters). but i might just make an OC. i cant guarentee that i will join right away but ill think about it

I'm interested in this RP, but I have to ask something first. Does the OC I use have already used in a another RP or just someone made up and wanted to be used, but never had the chance?

Also, does the OC I use had to be involved in an RP first in order to use it here?
