The game should be remade only if it's twice as long, Alice, Decus, and Richter become party members as was originally planned, and none of the Symphonia characters' personalities are poorly rewritten (the only Symphonia characters I liked in Dawn were Zelos, Raine, Colette, and Regal).

I wasn't really impressed with Symphonia's character development to begin with, to be honest. There were a couple of interesting characters, but they were generally fairly flat, I felt. As a result, I'm not disappointed in their development. The level caps yes, the development no. In fact, what development there was I liked. I thought Regal was way more interesting in Dawn. |
Regal was so much more awesome in Dawn(Minus hi-ougi)

I voted yes but in the same way everyone said ToP needed a remake.
It would be far easier to make a new game than make something decent out of KoR.

Yes but it's downright annoying after Namco specifically said it wasn't ToS2 because it's not a proper Tales game (and sucks).

That's ridiculous in internet language. The game bears the title "Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World". It's a sequel to said "Tales of Symphonia". Shortest way of typing it so that everyone knows what you speak of: ToS2. OF COURSE it is not its proper title, but it IS the second game that has "Tales ofd Symphonia" as its title, as much as some people like to say "Oh noez, it was never even meant to have anything to do with ToS!" - where the hell is the problem? I'd go with "Dawn" because it's easily typed, but seriously: DotNW takes anyone's fingers running two circles over the entire keyboard. ToS:R at least one uncomfortable move to hit ":" then jump all the way back. Where is the problem in calling the - as I said before - second game bearing the title "Tales of Symphonia" "ToS2"? @.@
I'm unhappy enough with this game being named "Tales of Symphonia" to begin with, but since that freaking IS its sequel (or something that way) I don't bother pondering about how to best type his oh so holy proper and full title.

Who honestly cares? It's not a big deal if someone refers to DotNW as ToS2. It's understandable since it is directly related to the first one, so let it go.

See, the difference is very simple. You know EXACTLY what people mean when they say ToS2. You're just being ridiculous about it because you dislike this game. It's very small in the grand scheme of things, so move on.

It's not my favorite game in the world, but there are tons better. Unless they (Namco) make ANOTHER Symphonia and call it ToS3 then I won't ***** every time I see ToS2. But I think we all agree that Aselia needs to be left alone. |
