Disney announces they're making a new Child's Play movie

Well that's what the poster makes it ****ing look like. Apparently it's just comedy based on Rapunzel, though.

What are your thoughts on this upcoming film?

i saw the trailer for this ... (i know it will sound strange) but at e3 at the dsi showcase in 3d. looks different.

Saw the trailer when I went with the family to see Despicable Me and honestly laughed at a few parts (the prince getting his ass kicked by the locks of hair, the lizard doing the fist-pound, and horse loling at the end).

I actually wouldn't mind see it but yeah what's up with that poster...

I genuinely want to see this. It looks like a mix of Shrek and Emperor's New Groove, which is good. And the lizard fist pound made me lol too.

The facial expressions and animations are actually really neat. Dunno about the whole plot or premise, but it might be pretty good

I guess I'm the only one not exactly thrilled about the plot? It just doesn't jump out at me, but I guess I'll wait until I actually see it to give an opinion...I wasn't exactly thrilled when they kept exclaiming it was Rapunzel and suddenly they gave it that awful title.

...The character designs and concept art of this though had me incredibly excited. They're gorgeous, and it's probably going to be the one thing that currently redeems this for me. It would be better in 2D, but eh. I might give this a shot.

I was psyched as all hell for this movie (from the concept art), until they actually unveiled it and it was 3D. :(

Might still go see it, but I'm not nearly as excited as I was before. Could be good, could not. Eh.

If it's even half as funny as Emporer's New Groove, it'll be worth seeing imo. But I won't see it in 3D, and I likely won't see it opening night or anything.

Also the title is kinda dumb, but eh...

Anyways, I like the animation, but the plot doesnt seem like its going to be good... might be a waste of nice animation.

Hmm, I feel pretty skeptical about this one. Carries a dangerous vibe of dumbness, IMO. Still, it's Disney, so I should have faith if I actually decide to see it.

I stopped caring about this movie when they changed the name from Rapunzel to Tangled and gave the prince top billing :l

also, this has been known for like two years. Just Sayin'
