As it got just announced, why not make a topic about it.

It is said to have 80+ Tales Characters.

Release Date is sometime in 2011.

Currently confirmed characters:

I am really excited for that one, as I really enjoyed RM2.

I hope there will be pretty much every playable main character available. I counted around 90, so it might indeed be possible, if its actually 80+ characters, as they advertised.

Hopefully the descender will get new classes as well.

Judging from the pictures and a text saying that there will be huge fields to explore, I really hope that it will become more like an actual Tales game, by having places with NPCs (can be seen in the picture) and maybe even routes like in ToG.

Anyway, I am really looking forward to this one -- a small comfort, for porting ToG to the PS3.

A main topic might be made in Tales Series Discussion, but...

It's definitely nice to have another RM. Hopefully both Shiina and Nakamura return to do some tunes for it, and I really hope they can shove in all of the neglected characters (Klarth, Mary, Moses, Natalia, etc).

It'll be interesting to say the least. With Norma confirmed there's a good chance that they are taking the 80+ characters with much liberty, since she doesn't scream "Add me!" besides her personality. If they add a summoning class or a spear-using class it basically opens up the character selections to everyone.

Very interesting indeed. Can't form coherent sentences.

Chances are if it's not made sometime today, it wont be made 'til more news is out. Though this sub-board is game specific, the board itself hasn't been updated since Vesperia was released, so it should be an appropriate place as well. I don't know it if is.

On a side note, this isn't the Kanonno from either RM1 or RM2. This time it's Kanonno Graspal/Graspar (sp?). Considering the first 2 Kanonno's were connected, I wonder what they are going to pull for this one.

EDIT: No, anybody can make the topics. It's just that one for RM3 might be started in General Discussion since these sub-boards don't get as much traffic as General Discussion. And there's a Radiant Mythology 2 topic there as well, so this game will most likely get one as well unless this topic gets more notice or moved or something.

EDIT: I meant Tales Series Discussion, sorry.

New design for Summer Kanonno is good, with added side tail... But I have bad memories with the VA... Please don't be like her role as Nanael in QB... I love using her in that game, but her voice in there made me annoyed...

Dang. Namco US is sitting on its freakin' laurals... I'm still waiting for a US release of RM2. I swear, when I go and buy RM2 in Japanese I'm NEVER buying another Totw from Namco US ever again even if they do get around to releasing it.

Well, it is pretty much gaurunteed that if a character was in the first two games, that they will make an appearance in this one. I would love to see these things:

- Obviously more characters

- Villain characters that appear, like lets say Legretta, Forcystus, Incarose and Zagi all appear as antagonists, that might be playable. Wasn't Dhaos and Barbatos in RM2? or was it VS?

- More Classes like: Gunslinger (Rifle or Pistols work), Lancer, Puppeteer, Summoner, Bard (Like Johnny/Karyl), Ranger (Woodrow and Raven), and Sky Knight (Judith and Emil who could make incredible aerial combos)

- The ability to make more of your own descenders so you can build your entire team with characters that you've made up on your own

- Larger weapon choice like Books and Tonfas for mage based classes

- And finally. . . a WESTERN RELEASE!!!!

Dhaos and Barbatos were on RM2 AND VS,lol.
Except that in VS they were playable,in RM2 Barbatos was a story-fight,and Dhaos was a bonus boss.

...Aaaand I want basically everything Sunbird mentioned. Though honestly,I'd like them to give those extra character spots to,say,Legendia,Vesperia,Destiny(Even though it already has 7 characters...I REALLY want Johnny and Chelsea,but I doubt that'll ever happen.There is also the fact Chelsea wouldn't play so well without aerials,and Johnny's attacks aren't fit so much for FR-LMBS),etc.

I also want the character spots to contribute to variety. There's enough swordsmen,so I don't want any more of them that play like Cless.
Not that I dislike swordsmen,but most of them play like Cless,so..

And Aerial Battle System please please please.
