<Kei Atwood and Kuroto ~ Altamira>
“…Pretty much on the dot,” Kei muttered out his thoughts faintly after Fel had finished her explanation and bit down on his lower lip to hold back a yawn. He continued to walk quietly by Persey’s side, occasionally shielding his face from the sunlight when they moved out of the shade of the buildings, and glanced curiously at the older elven woman. He had seen her mutter something to Persey earlier after leaving the inn, but he wasn’t able to catch what she was saying.
“Oh, so this Bryant guy traveled with the Chosen then?” Ayase suddenly asked with great interest in his voice as he looked over to Kerilla, “This is exciting! Do you think we can find him over there? Those buildings look important.” He pointed to a pair of large buildings off in the distance across the ocean.
Kuroto nodded his head as Ayase indicated to the buildings, even though he was walking at the back of the group. He wasn’t exactly sure if they would find Regal Bryant in those buildings, but he figured it wouldn’t hurt to check it out. He was still concerned about the razed village, but what concerned him more was the mentioning of the demonic weapon. How would he or the others in the group react to it? He wondered as the group aboard the Elemental Railway and approached the pair of tall buildings.
When they arrived at their destination, Kei tilted his head back, clearly amazed by the size of the skyscrapers. There was no way Valorda had buildings like these, especially since his home was underground. “Lezareno…?” Kei read the letterings on the building and quickly moved into the shade. He noticed some employees walking in and out of the building and peeked inside when the doors opened. Everything inside looked classy, even the uniforms of the workers.
“So… do we just go inside?” Kei asked the group, unsure if they could just stroll inside the building to see the president of the company. _________________

Lezareno Building (Outside)
"Um, I don't know. I never been here before, maybe we should go see the lady at the desk over there?" Fel pointed through the window to a receptionist sitting at a polished desk.
House of Salvation (Palmacosta region)
It was a long and slightly gusty trip along the waves from Thoda Geyser back to the mainland. However, they managed to get back in one peice without sinking.
Disembarking from the ship and back on to the wooden dock of the House of Salvation, they could feel a sense of happiness that they are back on mainland.
"That ship lasted surprising better than I thought." Nana said, looking back to the old moldy ship.
"The fact that we didn't get attacked along the way means that getting rid of the Kraken was the best thing after all." Falken nodded.
"So, to Asgard now, right?" Nana asked.
"We will have to cross Hakonesia Peak to reach Asgard, does anyone have a pass? Without it, we will not be able to get across the peak." Kratos noted.
"Oh no, I haven't thought about that." Misha paled.
"Hm? What's wrong?" Zero turned to ask the blonde-haired Irving. "Ah...I forgot to bring Dad's old pass with me while I was back home." Misha brought her two fingers together and pressed them together a timid way.
"...Great. What are we going to do now? Climb over?" Zero sighed.
"Hmmm...Hey! I have an idea!" Falken clicked. "I can always use a hypnotizing spell on the guards. It's one of my race's little traits, we can put our prey under heavy hypnosis and basically get to mind control them. The results are usually quite funny." Falken suggested.
Everyone sweatdropped at Falken's last statement.
"...And here I thought Mithos had a bad case of being sadistic when he was still Cruxis' leader." Kratos sighed.
"Heeey, don't make me sound like a villian. I'm not a sadist either." Falken whined.
"Sure you aren't, Falken." Nana narrowed her eyes playfully.
"As much as I really don't like the idea of basically mind-controlling people. I'd rather do that then risk climbing over the peak, because knowing our luck, we'll end up getting into another suitation where another legendary monster decides to come and kill us." Misha explained.
"...Misha, is Mithos rubbing off on you?" Kratos asked with slight concern.
"Ah...no?" Misha blinked. _________________

<Thoda Geyser>
In yet another rare instance, Psychon was seen walking, rather than hovering towards the group, a tired, wearied look on his face.
"I would much appreciate not having to go hiking in this current state, I vote for... peaceful coersion..."
He sighed, grabbing his sword and leaning on it.
"Ohh, moving a boat that probably weighs several thousand kilograms really put a strain on me..."
<Lezerano Building>
Persey shrugged, looking across at them while they tried to figure out how to best get into the building to speak with Regal. She took the opportunity then to pull Kerilla aside.
"Hey, you said you needed something, right?"
She looked to see if the others were far enough away to make sure their conversation was not able to be overheard.
"Is something wrong?"

Thoda Geyser
"Poor guy, maybe we should avoid climbing." Nana bent down to check on Psychon.
"But is using hypnosis really the way to go?" Zero asked.
"Unless we can find a pass, we don't have much of an option." Falken shurgged.
"What about that Koton guy? I heard he sells Passes now." Misha suggested.
"You mean the so-called shewd pervert?" Nana rolled her eyes. "I also heard he's still an archological hunter, he'll probably ask us to go look for some relic that doesn't even exist." Nana sighed. _________________

<Lezerano Building>
"Hey, you said you needed something, right?"
She looked to see if the others were far enough away to make sure their conversation was not able to be overheard.
"Is something wrong?"
Kerilla looked around.
"Yes..." she answered with a sigh and continued. "Persey...do you know what this is?"
She pulled down the portion of her shirt to show Persey what she had been hiding.
"I don't even know the details, but it's from a demon. My teacher said she had delayed it's progression...but I think it's spreading."
She looked at Persey.
"She never directly told me what it was, so I don't even know." Kerilla looked away for a moment, not sure how Persey would react.
"I thought coming to you would be the best thing, since you were educated in Sybak."
She awaited a response before going any further. _________________

Psychon cleared his throat, sitting upright.
"Oh, no, I'm still good to walk, but don't expect me to be fighting along with you for the rest of the day."
If one was paying attention, at that moment, yet again Psychon's shadow flickered, revealing a rather odd shadow. A spiny, imposing silhouette was cast across the ground for a mere fraction of a second, but those who blinked would have missed it.
"Well, let's get going, right?"
<Altamira: Lezerano Building>
"Oh geez... no, I really don't know what that is, but..."
Persey looked shocked when she dipped down to look closer.
"That looks... really infected. I don't imagine demons are the cleanest of creatures... What happened?"
She looked closer at the wound, but the true nature of it really escaped her, the worst she thought of it was maybe a flesh-eating bacteria.
"Yeah, this is why you really gotta wash when you get a deep cut. I accidentally sliced my arm open on an old knife, ooh, it looked terrible after a few days, had to go down to Triet to get a doctor."
She pulled Kerilla's shirt back down to cover the wound.
"Hey, when we're done here, we need to go right to the doc and get some medicine, a few weeks of antibiotics and clean bandages and you should be good in no time, so don't worry about it, I've been through something like that too, and I've still got my arm." |

Persey looked shocked when she dipped down to look closer.
"That looks... really infected. I don't imagine demons are the cleanest of creatures... What happened?"
Kerilla looked at the ground, trying to hide her sadness.
"It was a long time ago..." She thought back.
"Demons attacked Heimdall. They slaughtered everyone, and I was left with my fiance. We tried our best to fight them off, but it was hopeless. I watched as my love was slaughtered in front of me, and when I tried to avenge him, the demons came after me. I luckily managed to only walk away with this. If it had not been for the Professor, I would have died..."
A few tears were falling, but Kerilla wiped them from her face.
"Not to mention that sometimes...I...No...I suppose that is irrelevant."
Persey looked closer at the wound, but the true nature of it really escaped her, the worst she thought of it was maybe a flesh-eating bacteria.

Kerilla smiled at Persey.
"Perhaps you are right." She began to walk towards the group, but stopped once more.
"Please...don't tell the others about this. It was hard enough for me to even show you. I know it is hard to ask, but would you mind going with me when we have time to see a doctor...? It's a selfish request, but seeing as you already saw, I wont feel ashamed."
She whispered to Persey.
"And...thank you."
"Let's go join the others then." _________________

"Oh, Persey, Kerilla! I've got great news!" Fel declared as the two older women returned. "I asked the receptionist if we could get an audience with Master Bryant and she's organzing one now for us. Isn't that great?"
Palmacosta region
"Well, let's go to Hakonesia Peak." Misha told the group as they left the docks of the House of Salvation far behind them, leaving the ship they used there, maybe some researcher might find it intresting enough.
Hakonesia Peak
It took a while of walking, but they finally arrived at the mountain range where Hakonesia peak was.
"Well, here we are. What's the plan? When I came through here, I was in my bat form so I didn't need a pass." Falken asked.
"Well, I'm still uncomfortable about the idea of actually hypnotizing people. Let's try Koton first and see if we can get a pass, we'll the hypnotizing as a last resort." Misha explained.
"I still think this is a bad idea asking Koton." Nana sighed. _________________

<Altamira: Lezerano>
"Oh, that's great!"
She looked back briefly at Kerilla, before moving on with the others.
"You know, I'm a little nervous, getting to meet my old boss face to face for the first time."
<Hakonesia Peak>
"Hmm, you all act like this Koton guy is unreasonable. Come on, is he really that bad?"
Psychon groaned, sluggishly walking up the trail.
<Northeast of Hakonesia>
"Hmph, this dragon's got a real strong will..."
Sparrow rolled to the side to dodge a stram of flame directed at him. The massive, winged beast dropped to the ground, roaring at Sparrow.
"... but I'll break you!"
Sparrow shouted in retaliation to the Dragon's roar, sending out several of his metal plates, attacking the beast from multiple angles to distract it while he advanced. He grabbed hold on one of the plates, jumping up and grabbing hold of the creature's neck, where he had already embedded several other plates into the base of the dragon's skull. He rammed the sharp-edged plate deep into the beast's neck, inserting it beneath the skin, and allowing an odd, green growth begin to spread.
Sparrow was thrown off by the violent lashings of the beast's neck, and rolled to lessen the impact. He prepared himself should his trick not work, but the best seemed to slowly lose its will.
"There we are... Ruishi, you can come out now, we've won this fight."
Ruishi emerged from cover behind a small ditch, accompanied by two other beasts, a pair of wild wolves, who had also lost their will to the strange, magical plates firmly embedded in their bodies. The dragon approached at Sparrow's command, lowering its head to allow him to run his armored hand over its nose.
"Well, now we've got something that can fly, maybe we'll have better luck searching for those guys with that calendar." |

Hakonesia Peak
"You obviously don't know him like we do. He made Uncle Lloyd and everyone look for some dumb statue before he would even let them glance at the 'Book of Regeneration." Nana sighed.
"That was before started selling passes, right?" Misha asked.
"I think he was selling passes a while back even then." Nana shook her head.
They went to the lone house that was at one corner of the beginning of Hakonesia's peak and went inside. They were first greeted with an range of ancient relics and items.
"Wow, Auntie Raine would have a field day in here." Misha whistled. _________________

Altamira: Lezerano Building
Regal Bryant sat at his desk filling out papers, his mind was still troubled by his thoughts from yesterday. As he filled out papers, he heard a knock.
"Yes?" he said, putting the pen he was using down.
The receptionist from the first floor came in, bowed and then proceeded to speak, "Mr. President, there are some children here to see you about something."
Regal narrowed his eyes, "What is it that they want?' It was rare for children to just ask for an audience with him. Usually they just wanted to meet the one who presided over theme park that they loved so much.
"The receptionist apologized, "Forgive me sir, but I think it had something to do with a village of some sort."
Regal paused for a minute before giving his answer. "Very well, I will see them. The papers and proposals can wait an hour."
"Yes sir, I will tell them right away." The receptionist said with a small bow and then left the room. _________________

They waited for twenty minutes at maximum before the receptionst returned.
"Thank you for waiting. The president will see you now." The recepitionst answered.
"Really? Thank you so much, Miss!" Fel thanked her kindly before she and the others went in the elevator to lift them up to the president's office.
Regal's Office
Once the elevator arrived at it's destination, they stepped off and looked around briefly before seeng the president himself.
"You must be Master Bryant that the villagers told us about. It's an honour to meet you, good sir. I am Fel Ellondal." Fel bowed regally and remembered her lessons of speaking formally when dealing with important people. Her mother always did say that it was important for a Princess to mind her manners in front of noblity and other royals. _________________

<Kuroto ~ Altamira: Lezareno Building (Regal’s Office)>
Once the elevator arrived at the destination, Kuroto waited at the back until everyone was off of the elevator and followed closely as they entered one of the offices. Once inside, Kuroto’s eyes fell on the man with light blue hair and examined the human with interest. So this was the man who traveled with the Chosen? Kuroto mused to himself before shifting his eyes to the quick movement of Ayase, who half-hid himself behind Persey and Kei shyly. He sighed inwardly at the Tsukinai, finding it strange how easily timid he was when only minutes before he had been so excited to meet the man. When Kuroto’s gaze then shifted to Kei, he noticed the same, dull expression over his face as he stood close to Persey silently and watching the blue haired man.
After Fel had introduced herself to Regal, Kuroto felt inclined to introduce himself as well. “A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Bryant. I am Kuroto… these children’s chaperone, I guess you can say,” he said, gesturing to both Fel and Kei, which the latter glanced back at him with slight annoyance at being called a child.
For a while, Kuroto remained silent after that, waiting to see if anyone else in the group wanted to introduce themselves before they started to discuss about the village. He placed his hands into his coat pockets and fixed his gaze at Regal as one of his hands gently fingered at the sharpened edge of the broken demonic dagger’s blade. If Fel were to explain the whole situation to this man, Kuroto pondered whether he should show this man the demon weapon that was now completely devoid of any traces of Demonic Mana or energy source. However, the inscriptions on the blade were still visible to plain sight, but only those who had knowledge of the demonic language could read such symbols. Lightly biting down on his lower lip, he lowered his gaze and resisted frowning as another thought entered his mind if he were to reveal the dagger. Would that expose this identity of being a Demon? No other beings could touch it without having to lose their sanity first and he would likely raise suspicion if he suddenly displayed it in front of everyone to see here. Thinking about it carefully, he decided to still risk at least showing it to this man after everyone would leave the office, since the weapon was responsible for the village’s destruction.
((OOC: Just to point out, Kei and Fel should not know that Kuroto took the demonic dagger with him after he drained all of its energy.)) _________________

Altamira: Lezareno Building (Regal’s Office)
"Um, in any case, thank you for taking time from your work to hear us out. I should explain why we came here. You see, we were sent here by the villagers who lived on the outskirts of your resort, good sir. A terrible incident had happened there that requires your assitance."
"A man driven mad by a demonic weapon of Niflehim caused him to attack and set the village aflame, injuring and causing some deaths to the villagers before the man also was killed in his madness. We came on behalf of those villagers to tell you this and ask you for your help." Fel explained the story of their visit.
Koton's house
"Hey, what are you little theives doing in my house?!" Koton yelled.
"Theives?" Misha twitched her eye.
"Wait a minute...I reconinze those swords, you're that loudmouth swordsman's kid and by the looks of you that other girl, I'd say you're also the chosen one's children too."
"How observant." Misha grew a vain.
"Look, buddy. Let's just cut to the chase. We need one of those passes and we need one right now." Nana sighed.
"Ah, a pass is it? That'll be 5000 Gald per person for a pass."
"WHAT?!"
"Hey, it's free world, everyone's got to make a living somehow. I could lessen the deal if you-!" Koton said halfway before Nana grabbed the front of his clothes and glared.
"If you tell us to go on some relic chase, you got another thing coming. We just came back from being stranded on an island and from barely surviving an encounter with a godamn Kraken. You better give us those passes for free or I'll make you regret ever crossing me! And trust me, you don't want to cross a ticked off Ninja-in-training." Nana growled.
"...." Everyone looked horrifed at Nana.
"God she scares me when she's angry..." Falken sweatdropped.
"Okay, okay! I'll give you the passes!" Koton screamed.
"That's more like it~" Nana smiled and dropped him.
"How did you and your cousins ever surivive growing up with her?" Kratos asked curiously although he was stoic, he was actually quite concerned about her.
"...I'd rather not explain." Zero sighed.
"Thank you~" Nana got the passes from a scared Koton and turned to the others.
"Mission accomplished, let's go." Nana told them as she exited the house, with the others following behind.
Once outside, Nana handed the passes out. "Was that really necessary?" Misha asked.
"Heh heh, Koton's so easy to scare. Besides, there's no way I'm paying five thousand gald for a single pass each." Nana laughed nervously. _________________

Altamira: Lezareno Building
"Demonic Weapons? A village in trouble?" Regal commented, listening intently at the visitor's story. Once they were finished, he let out a long sigh. "While I greatly feel for the village's loss, I am the President of a company, not an army. All I can really offer is material aid. Would that be sufficient?"
Aesir HQ: Renhart's Office
Renhart smiled at Nazca's reaction. "You will leave as soon as your ready. Your mission is to infiltrate and spy on the far western leaders and determine their plans. This include Meltokio and any other provence in the western side. I need to know what their next move will be, how big their armies are, and what their army's capabilities are as well."
Luin
"Ugh, you big dummy." Harou frowned at Xade and his baggage. "And how do you know this one is really worth anything?" he asked, pointing at the Mana Vampire. "I'm not giving him my device." Harou though. He needed it in case he was chased and needed a quick exit back home. Though, going back home would equal a death sentence for him.
"What are you planning on doing Xade?" Harou asked in a serious tone. _________________
