Tales Skit Avatar RP (NO LONGER CANCELLED!)

With all the skit face avvies out there, why not start a skit face RP?

Plot (This was needed after a little... incident...):

Granide is a world well known for being the setting of Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2. However, there's a new threat that exists in Granide, and it's up to the members of Ad Libitum to stop it.

The true power of Granide's Descender was said to have been sealed away by what has been called Granide's last true Descender over one thousand years ago, shortly after said Descender sealed away a terrible evil.

Ad Libitum is well known for helping people in their time of need, so when a mysterious man shows up having been beaten up terribly, Ad Libitum instantly goes out to help this man, not knowing that they are about to embroil themselves in a battle between good and evil.

So far in our quest, Ad Libitum has tried to help this mysterious man, but came across a powerful young mage and was repelled by his powerful move, known as a Mystic Arte. Said mage claimed he was protecting something evil from being released, and did not like trespassers.

Later on, the captain of the Van Eltia, Chat, was kidnapped by the man who had sent Ad Libitum to fight the young mage. His motives for doing this is still unknown. However, after a little incident regarding the Van Eltia, that man is currently out of the picture... for now.

After that, one of the members, Kratos, found a mysterious circular fragment with symbols on it. Another member, Arielle, claimed she saw a symbol just like it on a book she saw at the Shrine of Granide.

Upon touching said book, however, Arielle collapsed, then reawakened, claiming to be the spirit of the book by the name of Augla. She was about to annihilate the other members before being stopped by the young mage that was fought prior, who claims to be the Descender of Granide and goes by the name of Roa du Granide. He manages to repel the spirit Augla and seals her away, though where to is currently unknown, and Arielle realizes that she has been too careless and that she will try to be more careful from now on... (this was never said outright during the roleplaying, but I'm putting it here, so we should assume this happened...)

And that's where our story is currently at... for now.

-MUST have a skit face avvie to participate! (can be a homemade one like mine)
-Try to take an unused character, if possible.
-Skit format, please! Paragraph style not necessary!
-Regular RP rules otherwise.
-Have fun!

Hello Mr.Canta-san, shouldn't you be more careful with your entrance?*closes eyes and starts rambling* Serpent Raves can be very unwieldy in their execution, my grandfather always says flashy entrances make waste for a ninja....*opens eyes and blushes* oh, but I guess your not a ninja....I'm very sorry Mr.Canta-san.

Canta: Hahaha! It's fine, Suzu (I'll just call you by your name then). Well, I like being a pirate so far, being able to travel the seas in a ship... but I have been contemplating to try to wield a broadsword since I've seen some people wield them before... however I think I'll rather stick with a dagger and gun. It's much lighter. I've also heard stories about ninjas and they are very interesting... if that's what you are, Suzu? And "Arrg" is something I've picked up from one of my crew-mates. Smile

Suzu: Yes, I'm a ninja-in-training, I....have a long way to go, i have to...train more. and so "Arrrg" is a a pirates phrase? *contemplating* Do ninja's have a phrase? and yes i myself prefer dagger and shortswords, a large sword would get in the way of my ninja arts.

A ship?...I traveled in the sky once, is that similar? *curious-type-ish-face-or as curious as Suzu can look*

Ninja's are very interesting...but it requires much preparation to become a full fledged ninja. I can teach you some meditation or some ninja arts if you like? Maybe throwing poisons darts and kunai would be to your advantage in this...sailing?

Umm, I'm sorry I've talked so much...I'm just...this sailing and this "Arrrg"ing sounds very...interesting. (but should a ninja be interested in this kind of thing....)

Canta: A ninja in-training? I see, good luck with your training then *pats Suzu's head*. I'm not sure if ninjas have a phrase, since you would be the first ninja I've met, but I'm pretty sure they have one.

*becomes interested* You've traveled in the sky?! I was never able to travel in the sky before. How is that like? But I can imagine traveling by sea is a lot different than in the air.

I would accept your offer, but I think I'll decline for now (though the meditations sounds nice). I find it more easier shooting bullets than throwing knives. *sweatdrops*

Heheh, that's fine. I like listening to long stories or information on other things.

OOC: Ack sorry, I'm kind of confused with the setting. Is this RP in the setting of RM2 or is it like all the characters never met each other before? Since I didn't mention traveling in the Van Elita. XD If it's not connected to RM2, then my character would be like a mercenary pirate.

Suzu: Yes the sky was interesting, we used things called Rheards, Cress-san and Klarth-san showed me how to contril them, and Arche-san tried to help but...she didn't really help. They were all very nice, I'd hope you could meet them but....

The sky was very...interesting, the air rushing past me was fun (are ninja's supposed to have fun?)

And oh bullets, that sounds good to use (what's a gun and bullets?) *sweatdrops also*

OOC: I've been in the context that Suzu entered the skit from her own timeline in ToP after the events of ToP, i guess this could be when she first came to the Van Elitia in RM2, because I haven't played RM2 myself yet, I'm still holding out for a localisation~
