Vanillaware's latest deserves a thread again. Atlus launched the website for the Dragon's Crown with the release date of August 6th for North America. The same day as Tales of Xillia? Hmm... but it should have a superior soundtrack since Hitoshi Sakimoto (FF12) is the composer.

You'd think that'd go without saying around here?
If the Vita version is the exact same game as the PS3 version, I might just get that and Muramasa on it.
Y'know, when I get a Vita... _________________

Considering you can transfer your save data to either device, I'd assume so. Funnily enough though, no actual cross-play. _________________

Apparently not?
I mean you you can transfer the save data between the two versions, however I haven't heard of any cross-buy deal with it, which would mean to make the most of both versions, that's roughly $100 you'd have to spend. Now I'd like to be wrong, but I'm not holding my breath or anything. _________________

| I'm on the fence about this one. I thoroughly enjoyed Muramasa, but I'm also not sure it was worth the price tag of a console game. |

I'm not referring to getting both editions of the game with one purchase, I'm referring to cross-platform multiplayer, since you said "cross-play" before. _________________

Oh well yeah. Atlus stated that it wasn't going to be possible, hence why transferring save files is there. _________________

The character design is disgusting. |

That's the worst character design I ever seen for a video game. The proportions are just over the top and it's just disgusting and disturbing. Aside from that, I like it that is a 2D D&D type of game and I would play it but the character design is the deal breaker. _________________ "Don't let it end like this...Tell them I said something." Amazon is just disgusting, and Sorceress could really do with some smaller bewbs.
I'm enjoying this more tbh. Funny that the artist drew it in response to some criticism. |

I think it was toward this Kotaku writer and his article criticizing the Sorceress' design. _________________
