| Tales of Symphonia vs Tales of Vesperia would be in fact a fierce rivalry due to their popularity. Since I'm a Symphonia fan, TOS rules and no doubt it. |

Then how do you even begin to judge them? You'd have to play both for a decent length of time to do so, one would think.

Keep in mind i'm also judging story and characters, i've seen a full walkthrough of Vesperia so, Symphonia.

Okay. Though I have yet to understand why people watch games rather than play them. To me, that's very, very boring.
Since characters are the most important to me, and I loved all of the party members in Vesperia, it wins out over Symphonia.

Same here. I think it's just not the same thing as actually playing it yourself.

Like Jessamyn, I prefer the characters of Vesperia. Every single one of them are pretty amazing (except for Rita and Patty imo), and even the beastly Regal can't be that amazing to make Symphonia better.
Lastly, these vs threads are trivial anyways.

Definitely Tales of Symphonia. It will always be my favorite game. The plotline is just fantastic.

Vesperia was incredible, though ToS will always have a special place in my heart because it was the first video game that I ever really "connected" with if you know what I mean. So based on that I have to go with ToS.

it is no.1 for me(tie between eternia and symphonia)
i haven't played vesperia
xbox port is good but not the best
but i hate ps3 port
it is a mess

Oh, definitely. But when you have no way of playing the game...
Anyway, Vesperia is pretty superior in graphics and battle system, but I prefer Symphonia's story and characters.
