Thanks anyway. Now I just need to find an online walkthough or a translation guide or something. Otherwise I would get nowhere. XD

Again good luck finding one.Have you got your copy of RM2 yet?

Yeah. ^_^ It is pure awesomeness. XD

Too bad I don't understand the story though, but the gameplay is pretty straight-forward, especially if you played the first one.

Although I haven't found a translation guide, I decided to try and attempt at making a translated game script myself. I just installed a new pad that helps with translating the language. So all I have to do is match the right symbols and get it translated. ^^;

It might take a while, but hey, if there's no translation guide for it yet, then there's no time like the present to make one. ^^

I only know a few words clearly in Japanese so, I'll be heavily relying on that pad. XD

That's good to hear you finally got your copy of RM2.Try checking out GameFaqs though since a few people usually do Kanji to English translations.Either way good luck

Thanks. ^_^

I already did though, didn't look like anyone made a translation guide or anything yet. Although there we a few pics about the AI systems the items in the shop and the Grade shop translated. So that was good. =3

But no, I haven't seen a story translation there just yet. ^^

Your welcome and I agree that is good to hear along with us RM1 players since we have a huge advantage over those who have never played the 1st when going into RM2(Nothing is worse than fighting a boss,your about to die,and have no ideal on how to use an item).Hopefully someone will eventually do it but who is in your party?

Yeah, indeed. ^^ Once you play the first game, you get used to it. Also the core gameplay itself is very straight-forward and easy. It's just the story, I'm dying to know what they're saying. XD

I'm still trying to complete the first playthough, probably after that, I'll be able to translate easier in the New game+ since it be easier to complete the story missions. ^_^

For the party, so far I'm working on leveling up alot so I don't die. XD

But I always bring a healer when I'm allowed to. So probably someone like Mint or Raine.

So far, I've been using mostly, Lloyd, Colette, Mint, Chester and Arche. =3

When I get the TOR characters, I'm so abusing my power over Veigue, Eugene and Mao. X3

Good luck on all of that.So far Harold is the best since she can both heal and cause the most damage magic wise especially with Princess of Mermiad which is 4 different Hi-Ougis combined(Hi-Ougi+Chain Proc+Extention+Extention) unlike everyone else who have 1.I've never played TOR but have heard Veigue Hi-Ougi is somewhat like Rieds meaninng it will most likely kill everyone when used(depending on his LVL of course).With your current party though it seems you like to attack from a distance rather than up close.Hopefully Eugene is not like he was in the 1st RM though/I'am pretty confident someone will eventually translate the game script

Thanks for the advice. ^^

I'm sure that someone will eventually make a translation guide (probably one that's even better than my own, since my mine will probably suck. XD)

Even so, it's an intresting project to try and if doesn't work out, I can always wait until someone else makes one. ^^;

I've debated it myself...I think I'm going to wait to see if there's an English release. One of the major reasons I love the games is because I like to read conversations between characters. What's the point of getting it if I don't understand what the hell they're talking about? I mean, sure I'd know the storyline, but still....

Good luck on being patient since as of right now Of VS. has a better chance to be english ported then RM2 does(mainly due to its character lineup,its based off of ND3,ND3 is import-only except for the translation patch,Namco officialy said they will never release ND3 in the US,so far they have stuck to their word since its still import-only).Don't know about you but people usually import(regardless of them understanding it or not) "Tales of" games just to hear the Kanji voice overs since they do sound better than American ones.The best example of this is them importing TOD2 just to hear Judas via his Majin Rengokusatsu Hi-Ougi

I just don't understand why they don't just put english subtitles while keeping the Japanese seiyuus in.

I would be okay with just that. But noooooooo....Namco can't do that. >.>

Strange thing is that Taito did that for Psychic Force 2 and that was more less known than the Tales series. ^_^

To be honest, i was wondering the exact same thing! Namco are so horrible when it comes down to the Tales series. I don't understand why... maybe it's just too much worl for them? ;_; But i wouldn't actually mind just having the subtitles D:

I can understand most Japanese (Off anime Razz ) But i can't read it. And with 'quest items' , 'quest locations' etc are a real pain. I guess you could just get used to it though...

NAMCOOOO.... JUST RELEASE IT FOR CRYING OUT LOUD ;_______;
