probably miss sexy Nebilim ^^ it took a little while. believe it or not my party all died save for Natalia, and i had no life bottles but a lot of gels, and after quite some time i beat Nebilim with only Nat. one of my many tales acheivements

In my first playthrough.. Dist(St. Binah) then Nebilim in unknown.

I kinda overleveled my guys in Abyss...so I didn't really have any problems with bosses...or not that I can remember.

I haven't played the game in a while, but that scorpion/dinosaur thing you fight in that underground place on unknown. I'm going to have to go back and find out what it is.
The God Generals never game me any real problems. Nebilim was just annoying with her Big Bang. |

It is called the Tyrannopion. It starts out as a large rock-like spidery creature with a Tyrannosaurus skull at the end of what should be the tail but seems like a really long neck, and once you get it down about halfway through its health, it sheds the skull and rocky armor and is revealed to actually be a huge scorpion with a long tail that ends in a stinger.
And I am glad you brought that up, I did forget how much of a ***** that battle is... The freaking tail-spinny attack that hits 2/3 of the entire field in a huge circle, hits multiple times in a few seconds, and can give characters all sorts of status conditions. Even with Tear and Natalia, who were using Meditation, Fairy Circle, Recover, and sometimes Purify, between the two of them, some of our characters still had extreme difficulty doing anything, especially living. Guy would die, and Natalia would try to keep it off of Jade while Tear healed, but usually Jade would get a good pummeling, and sometimes die, by the time Guy was up and running again, but then when Guy came back Natalia would go into heal mode and help Tear with Revives, so Jade was never down for long.
In fact, even with AD Skills all equipped, it still managed to get a lot of good status conditions on us in the Unknown playthrough...

| Nebillim, no contest. It was the only time I had to actively go out and level in-game. Although, thanks to her and the leveling I had to do, the final boss battle was a cinch. |

That's because the final battle is too easy. Well, IMO. His Overlimits are somewhat broken, and he has some epic skills/Artes, but he needed to be a much higher level or have way higher stats. Or cast/combo faster, he is a little too slow.

Hmm I don't really know exactly which one, but I can say the God Generals are easier than the monsters (an Van at the final was the easiest one of all!)

| I didn't have any trouble on Normal or Hard. Unknown wasn't too difficult either besdies the fact that some bosses could take +45 minutes. I never got the Dragon Killer. The boss that gave me the most trouble though was the one you fight in the cave was Asch. I forgot to stock up (silly me) and only had about 2 or 3 of each gel. My solution? Set the game to normal->10X EXP->30 minutes grinding->level up 15 times. |
