|
|
The other day, I recieved a copy of Metroid: Other M from Gamefly. The copy didn't run, so I ran other games to see if there was a problem with my console. The other games I ran worked perfectly fine. So I sent the game back and got a replacement copy...it didn't work either. Both copies had not a single scratch nor smudge on them. My Wii has taken...battle damage, so to speak, but it doesn't appear to be anything serious.
So...any ideas that may remedy my situation? _________________

Do you have a copy of Brawl and/or can your Wii read Brawl just fine?
The first thing that came to mind is that both Smash Bros: Brawl and Metroid: Other M are both dual-layer discs and some Wiis have had trouble running those games for some reason or another. I'm not really all that knowledgable about this problem, but like I said that was the first thing that came to mind. |

My Brawl copy runs perfectly fine.
Hmm...Oh well, it isn't soul-crushingly terrible that I can't play it. _________________

Okay, well that rules out the double-layer disc thing.
I recall I did need to update my Wii to be able to play Other M. Have you updated recently or have access to the internet on your Wii so you can update? Maybe that's your problem. |

Is anyone else disappointed the title isn't "I'm having a Wii bit of trouble"? _________________

I hate myself for not thinking of that.
The update thing didn't work. Guess I miss out on this one. _________________

Here's your problem; your Wii doesn't want to see Samus degrade herself so.
There's nothing you can do. _________________
