Baker is awesome I admire how much pride he takes in his work, like when he talks about Darksiders, P4, and FFXIII, it's really nice to see him recall roles that are potentially years old and still remember how it was in the booth and or how fun he had with them (Kanji: Big tough manly looking guy...oh and he's really GAY! )

Thought it was hilarious though when even he mentioned that Snow overdoes it with SERAH and how he mentions Battlefield 2 and everyone in the audience is "Uhhh...." then says Persona 4 and everyone pops.

Good job con attendees, way to keep the stereotype that anime fans play nothing but JRPG's.

And he said it again, that he was called back to record more voicing.

I wonder. Did they start to voice it and then decide it would be unprofitable? But then again, if he did the voicing, that means they had already translated the new lines. You'd think that would be the majority of the work, translating and voicing the new content.

I had thought for sure Vesperia PS3 wasn't coming and that the first time he mentioned re-voicing it was a fluke. But he said it again? I dunno.

I honestly don't think Namco Bandai wasn't lying. It's probably true, but they just aren't really focusing on the game - and that they just left it down in the threshold.

They prefer making Ben 10.

What exactly did he say anyways (asking for direct quote)? The volume was low on that video so I couldn't hear a darn thing, and then I turn it up I get a bunch of annoying noises. I don't have good hearing but my ears are really sensitive to ugly noises.

A: OK, I know you guys re-recorded the voices for Tales of Vesperia PS3. It's only been announced for a European release, do you know if it's coming to the US?

T: Someone else asked me that. Actually, we didn't re-record everything, we only took what we did and chopped(?) it in with a couple of levels they added. So the new character, um, what's her name?

A: Patty.

T: Patty. They mentioned her in the Xbox version and actually added her in the PS3 version. So the European release ... I don't know why they haven't said a street date for the States yet, it doesn't make any sense to me, but I don't know. I'm ready for it to come out too because I have a PS3 and I'm like *taps leg rapidly* I really want to play the game. Halfway through Christmas break, I had an Xbox where I was at so I was like playing through it ... Ah! I gotta beat that Zagi *strains facial expression* ... He really held me back for a long time. So, I was really frustrated about that. Um, and then I've also heard rumors of a movie. So, yeah, a Vesperia movie. I would love *emphasis on "love"* for that to happen, but I know nothing about that. A lot of people ask me about that and I don't know. *mumbles something (I think it was about the time, not relevant though)*

A: The European version still has English in it right? Because even if it never comes to the US, but the European version has English in it, I'd be willing to import it.

T: If you can, but it doesn't ...

Anyway, he didn't confirm it was being released but he does seem to think it will. He also said it would sell well... shows what he knows.

I just read on a portuguese gaming website an article in which they claimed Troy Baker confirmed the PS3 version for USA and possibly Europe. However I wouldn't put my hands on fire for this website and they provide no source. Even so, it kind of seems to fit together. We'll see at E3.

They didn't re-record anything? As in doing the old dialouge over again or voicing new dialouge?

Because if it's the latter, it's defintely not coming. Even without Patty, there were new skits and scenes exclusive to the PS3 version.Most sub-events (including ones that were present in the 360 version) were voiced in the PS3 unlike it's Xbox counterpart.

Yuri also says Patty's name several times throughout the story..

And he never brought up Flynn who a lot of those new/redone scenes include. My guess is he's just preaching to a crowd and piecing together what he's had forced upon him by being stalked at these things.
