The general consesus has been almost opposite..everytime my friend tries to play his copy he turns it off immediately...
I personally think there was a good amount of extras..almost 4 extra sets of costumes, new artes, cameo artes, mystic artes...the Arena pwns...a ****** of new bosses, new characters (some only wanted flynn though lol). Calling it simply extras just feels wrong..i can't even say they just completed the game because in addition to adding what was scrapped they expanded. |
Well I just wanted to play it on a more stable system... But I do love the extras, I'm kicking ass with Flynn and both him and Patty are almost never out of my party. And the Garden of Izayoi is a NICE change from the lackluster EX Dungeons they've used since Eternia _________________

I just want to play the game. I can't do anything if it's not localized, but it would be really nice if it was.

Also, I'm waiting till April for the Vesperia announcement. If it doesn't come out by then, I'm washing my hands of it. |
Romanji is writing the Japanese words in the English alphabet, what's tricky is converting sentence structure. Since I really only write Skill names I tend to leave them as one word unless they use 'no' as part of the name and then space it like Shisna no Mezame. And I use a hyphen with ones like Majinken-Souga that has a division represented by a large dot. |
I know what romaji is, but I only recognize a few dozen words from watching anime/games. I was interested in increasing my vocabulary more. _________________

@Judgment: You could always get a Japanese=English/English=Japanese dictionary.
As long as we're asking for help on the Japanese language here, who can steer me in the right direction on improving my terrible Japanese grammar? I mean, I know it's Subject-Object-Verb and all, but once it gets to sentences with more than one verb, and the placements of the は, が、 and を I sometimes get lost in all that. Any suggestions? |

Well, honestly I'm learning alone. And where I live, I can't find a Japanese tutor/class/teacher anywhere. Using Kanji, alphabets, decent vocabulary, I have those.. but good grammar I do not lol. |

Best recommendation is to find a book that teaches Japanese. Also, I do recommend legally purchasing Rosetta Stone. _________________ Placeholder text. |

Don't even try, sever all your ties with the english language in learning it. Trying to form phrases derived from english phrases or even single words is a terrible idea and will get you nowhere very quickly. Even if you do manage to succeed in this method, mentally translating anything will prove to be a pain as you're thinking in english and screwing around with the words, grammar and structure, instead of just thinking in japanese. Learn japanese, using japanese. _________________

Honestly, I didn't know there was a way to obtain Rosetta Stone without legally purchasing it lol.
As for a Japanese book, most of the ones I seem to find are just awful. I was thinking of buying a textbook, one that a school uses, to see if that would help. |

Not sure if you guys can tell but that monster is petrified. What happened? Estelle charmed thrusted a monster that has a petrification attack and it petrified another monster. I couldn't do anything about it. The monster cannot be damaged, removed, or cured of it's ailment so the battle never ended. Fortunatley I was able to run away but had to start over on that floor of the Telescopic Graveyard. @.@ _________________

That's pretty awesome!
Don't worry, I can clearly see that this monster is petrified. _________________
