*The Wonder Reporter Scene is a really minor cutscene about this creepy guy who happens to stalk Yuri and cohorts. And you said EVERY cutscene...which I doubt. It's probably major cutscenes that didn't get voiced as opposed to sidequest cutscenes.
WTF. Again I was answering Shadowfox's question. He was asking if Eternal Sonata was fully voiced. And that's why I said "Every cut scene in the game is fully voiced." It wasn't directed towards Tales of Vesperia in any way. _________________

You weren't quoting him so it wasn't obvious that you were referring to Eternal Sonata. _________________

You really do want ToV PS3 in NA if you would go as far to have a nickname like that, do you, TalesOfVesperiaPS3NAPlz?
On topic, all that Symphonia PS2/ToV PS3 thing is pretty much useless.
It's pretty much the same thing. The only differences between them (ToS PS2 and ToV PS3) are the new playable characters and the full voice acting (and probably the story changes to include Patty and make Flynn appear more often). _________________

And the new subplots and also the events that ties in with the movie. Also the addtional script added for the PS3 version is almost as much as the entire original script in the Xbox 360 version. Thats a pretty big differences if you ask me. |

| Sony should pay for it, I would buy a PS3 just to play all the extra stuff (I have it on 360 as well). |

Yeah, I wouldn't compare ToS PS2 to ToV PS3, since this actually has different story elements whereas ToS PS2 was just a port with some extras... _________________

So, it's pretty safe to say this one is more like ToD PS2 even though ToD PS2 rewrote the entire script from scratch and made it seem like an entirely new game. _________________

Nah more like the DC, only instead of giving Flynn his own scenario like they did for Lion they just rewrote his part so he joins the party and Patty can't be compared to Lilith since she's actually THERE for the story instead of only appearing for the party split in Dycroft _________________

Exactly. It really is more of a Director's Cut than anything, since it isn't a Remake like ToD PS2, but it's more than a port. _________________

Indeed interesting, quite a flavorful play, favoring Sony in the console wars. Vesperia's impact should sway some of the RPG waves to the PS3 due to this directors cut for a short bit, and those Abyss costumes, I want to cry, Estelle looks surprisingly stunning in that outfit. Patty Fleur, one word: WHY? Not in a bad sense, I mean, they had to cut Patty out of the 360 version just to put her in the PS3 version? I mean, seriously, it's another character adding depth to the story here, not to mention mystic a new spin on Vesperia battle tactics. I like the branching storylines, such as expanding character relationships through events and side-quests, or maybe endings all their own obtainable through certain conditions in addition to the regular ending. Curse you PS3!
Although, since they're doing this, they might also be working on either an update or downloadable expansion for the 360 version so both might have the same features, this would satisfy anyone with either system. After the PS3 version's done and shipped, they'd have the data, all they'd need to do is work a little bit more and then get it on the marketplace for the 360, and then there you go. |
