Presenting OverClocked ReMix's thirteenth album:
For those who haven't visited it before, OverClocked ReMix is a website dedicated to providing high-quality fan-made arrangements of video game music. Summoning of Spirits is an official OCR album project covering Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Symphonia.
It features four discs of music (plus bonus tracks) containing over fifty tracks by over thirty-five artists. Popular tracks like Fatalize, Forest of the Treant and of course Fighting of the Spirit are among those covered, plus three tracks from Dawn of the New World.
Everything can be downloaded for free at http://tales.ocremix.org/ via zips, torrents or individual files.

Funny thing is, I haven't checked the project status for a while and just did it a moment ago. It's like ESP or something. |

Haha, nice timing. Yeah, it was referred to as "Summoning of Spirits Forever" on at least one occasion... but it's here now and that's all that matters!

Im fairly sure my Ipod consists 60% of OCremix songs. So I'd be crazy not to jump at the chance of Tales themed remixes.
When browsing I noticed a suspisious lack of the Tales Series songs, despite their popularity, now I know the reason and it's a wonderful surprise to get to listen to them all at last.
I'm no musician, but I think I can appreciate the effort that's gone into this and indeed all the OCRemix projects, from the songs to the website layout (which shh, actually puts this 'offical' site to shame I must say)
I'd have to say the song; Holy Judgement was utterly amazing, I think I listened to it in some sort of daze. I hardly believed it was 12 minutes long.
All the songs brought back some fond summer-holiday nerd-athon memories so I thank you for that. Truly. Music can do amazing things that even art and fiction can't accomplish. I stand in humbled awe at your collective talent. |

Oh dear god I've been stalking the OCRemix for a few years now and went into insanity shock when I saw this. Absolutely amazing. I also agree wholeheartedly with everything Ryou said.

It can be tricky adding quotes and voice clips to a track. If done improperly it can easily end up cheesy and distracting, but I think PriZm used it very effectively, so I'm glad you guys like it.
