Emil's mystic artes

i have seen 2 mystic artes for Emil on youtube. one in Ratotosk mode and one not. can someone tell me how to activate the one without the Ratatost mode. thank.

You can do it later in the game, and it'll happen automatically. There's no special procedure.

there is something I have noticed about Emil's Mystic Arte. It has happened to me a few times before...When I do his attack, I frantically tap the B button (force of habit). Every once and a while when I do that while he is doing his mystic arte, or just starting it, I will hear the noise of something charging or powering up, and at the top of the screen where it should say the name of his attack, it says "Deft Karma." Has this happened to anyone else? And what does it mean?

Are you sure that's not just some kind of monster sync effect?

I'm not sure. I have checked my monster's tech's and haven't seen it. It could have glitched when a monster was attacking while I was doing the arte. However, this has happened to me a few times before. As far as I can tell, there isn't any change in the attack. But this only happens 3/10 times when I do it. And it only happens when he's in Ratotask mode.

Unless someone can prove that "Deft Karma" is a monster attack, I think it's worth looking into. Everytime you use his Mystic Arte just keep tapping B and see if you get it.

Are mystic artes the same as the "special" skill? When u hold the B button after an Arte (arcane) or is this something else. cause if that is the case, I've totally missed tha

I've only ever gotten one Mystic Arte, Devil's Hellfire. I've seen it with both of the cut-ins.
How do you get the other Mystic Arte to trigger?

ARG! I've tried the arcane arte/b button thing even when the gadge is full, and I still don't get the stupid summoning(special skill like Vespius, or oneof the other centurions) thing to work where you use the WHOLE gadge! All I ever get is a monster sync and stupid overused devils maul. Ugh, I'm sick of this not working...what's the problem??

EDIT: Oh yeah, the gadge is ALWAYS at max when I try it. IS it how LONG you hold it(the b button maybe?

oh so it's WHILE using the arte AND it's full never figured that part out, I'm not really an RPG fan outside Zelda and Quest 64 so that's my bad. it's too bad I went through the whole freaking game without ever using mystic artes. Haha, my main in my DOANW fic uses a version of lightning blade (From Naruto AKA Chidori) that's at the same level. Umm...is a mystic Arte the thing that Richter does and maules everybody in range where he goes "The pain will only last a second" ? If so then Decus's is more dumb than it is powerful, how does burning some picture of your girlfriend make you snap THAT hard, I suppose if you were half insane and as obsessed with her as he was with alice. I still can't believe SHE'S eighteen though, course then again she might b an elf? Lols I crack up when I see the L O V E on the screen, then I go O CRAP! Hmm...I'd flip out like that over Sheena, can't immagine anyone else thoughXD

Sooo if demon fang's for using the Tenebrae one, what's the other ones so I know? I only have Ventus by the way in the replay, but I got meh monsters and meh skills, titles, and recipies too. I had more grade in the end than I thought I did. Maybe this time I'll b able to "beat" loyd in Triet ^_^ specially with meh lvl50 Ceres that's got healing circle and another monster with healing wind and first aid. Then there's marta with her arte's too, yup I bet I can beat him If I keep marta's tp and Emil's hp up more than half for a while. though I don't see how winning that fight with loyd and those two other fights with Richter before ch8 affects the story. I mean, DOES that affect the story any?

Did anyone notice the creepy thing where Emil kinda glares at you if you try to do it when the gadge isn't full? Not like that's what he's doing but it's still creepy. Yeah he pauses a second and looks AT the screen, i've seen it...I'm pretty sure that he isn't doing it, but still it's freaky ether way.
