Dude, you can kill ANYTHING with one of Emil's 50 hit midair combos if you have enough skills. And no, Emil is not like Zagi. Yes he's an evil psycho, but at least he has his sanity. This is a battle that has to do with attacks, it's not a popularity contest. Unless it's a different type of fight. Like... chess! I think either Emil would destroy the board in frustration, or they would both fall asleep and call it a draw. Or what if it's hopscotch? Or ballet? Eh, I think they would gang up and kill whoever suggested that. Wait- *runs*

I think Emil would win, comparing both characters at the end of their games, Emil would be able to use an infinite amount of monsters to win, not just that but he could open up the door to Nifilheim, Emil would be safe because he has the ability to pact with monsters and he's the king of summon spirits. The guys pretty much a god, he was the summon spirit of a tree that gave off an infinite amount of mana, that means he had infinite magical abilities. And even when the tree was dead he still had godly powers. Plus he could work with all the elements.

| Ratatosk has a super short temper, and Yuri's pretty good with sarcasm, so I think Yuri'd rile him up and work him down until Ratatosk got tired and then Yuri would go in for the final blow. |

Anyways, if both of them had all skills equipped, AKA fighting with their full strength, yuri would drop emil in 20 secs. If you say that Yuri shouldn't be allowed to have his broken skills, well then thats just giving yuri a handicap, which means emil could only win if yuri was weak as Sh*t, thus ending the argument and proving that yuri is better. |

No, even though its hard to look at this subject without a highly bias response, it isn't opinionated. Well, besides the end of course XD.

Oh yeah, that. Either way, if both of them fought at full strength, (Each of them has best equips from their respective games, and all skills on that helped them) Yuri would easily crush Emil. Despite the fact that both of them have glory, Emil focuses on aerial combos, and glory only stops staggering when you aren't airborne. Almost all of his artes push him into the air to begin with, and that means all Yuri has to do is unleash his own air combos on Emil, and as long as Emil didn't touch the ground, he would die. Considering Yuri's up attack combo keeps things airborne, and he has wailing havoc and pyre havoc, among other attacks, it wouldn't take long for him to get his overlimit due to his hyper skills, resulting in Emil's quick and unavoidable death.
Face it, even if Emil somehow broke free of the combo, Yuri still has final gale, azure edge, Dhaos corridor, and azure storm. Emil has only demon fang for long range, and he loses that due to his Tenebrea skill, so as Emil gives chase, Yuri can sit back and chip his health away. In the event of him taking damage, he can heal himself with Guardian Field. Finally, Yuri is older, and more experienced with fighting. He has defeated enemy after enemy, and has the ability to dish out millions in damage with a single hit.
Yuri wins, hands down. |
