|
|
Well I'm going to be importing TOS: DOTNW from America & planing on using a Freeloader or Gecko OS to play it on a Europe Wii, but I was wondering, as I have the original TOS but the PAL version of it I was wondering if TOS DOTNW (NTSC) would recognize the data on the memory card from the PAL TOS version & give me the starter unlockables.
I know it might sound a little confusing what I wrote, but if anyone understood, would it work? _________________

Wasn't the Wii Freeloader blocked? _________________

Not blocked for me since I don't update my Wii. (Last time I updated my Wii was to get Mario Kart to work)
Even if it was blocked I could still use Gecko OS anyway. _________________

Ah! i was just wondering about the same thing! But i forgot whether you have a literal 'clear data' or if a data which has had several playthroughs on it works XD; Because my PAL savedata of my file at level 200 with 5 playthroughs didn't work just now D: So yea, IF the PAL savedata doesn't work, i'll have to download a clear file somewhere and shove it onto my GC memorycard using the HBC =_ |

Hmm, Well my save file is a 8 times completed file that is half way trough the 8th play... Well if it doesn't work guess it's not that much to worry about, because all you get is stuff you help you trough the game right? (Not anything rare @.@?) _________________

| Yea, but it's for the sake of completeness >> anyways, It doesn't work, period, PAL saves, so I just used a Gamecube saver with homebrew channel... however, it requires you to not have a ToS save on your memorycard before you can put a NTSC ToS clear save on it, so unless you have 2 GC memorycards, you have to delete your ToS save ( which i just had to do, cuz apparantly i didn't have 2 anymore ._.; )... you can get the correct .GCI clear file on Gamefaqs... and i tried it, and it worked, so...yaay... i guess.. i do feel a bit sad about my ToS save file though D:... |

Didn't know there was a Homebrew App that Inserted any GC save file to your Gamecube memory card trough SD card, Thanks, I searched Google for "Gamecube saver" & found the App, Installing it now. _________________

Oh, I've also heard that there's a system update on the game. Probably 3.3 _________________ "TEACH ME ABOUT BAZONGAS!!!"

I'm not even gonna be planning on using Freeloader for playing NSTC TOS 2, Gonna Use Gecko OS since it just passes any updates & I don't have to keep switching Discs when I have to Start up the game. XD
EDIT: You can bypass updates with Freeloader anyway I think, by inserting the Freeloader disc twice before inserting the game. _________________

Some of the unlockable's are funny like for example the last title you had on the old party member is still there. xD Like Colette is still "Ironing Board" for me LMAO _________________

I don't think that's unlocked. I'm fairly certain I had Super Girl on Colette, but she's got Klutz now. I think the titles just change randomly. _________________

Oh I see, well I thought it was on random from what you had on your memory card? But ok =) _________________

| For me Colette had the Dog Lover title, and I NEVER got that for her. It's probably just a random title |
