|
|
The strategy guide has these steps listed, but has a couple of errors in it. I am updating them as I confirm these errors.
(2 known errors in step: 2 only available after getting 4 spirits... aer krene is SW of Nordopolica)
Here's the final edited version. I've added some more detail to the less specific steps, and removed spoilers.
Be warned that if you complete this, you will be forced into an extra fight on the last boss, and he is far more powerful than normal players will be prepared for at that point.
1. Go to the room of the Myorzo Elder and acquire the Abyssion sword. This can be accomplished once Zaude appears.
2. Use Ba'ul to reach the aer krene to the SW of Nordopolica and approach the boulder blocking the entrance to receive the Zarich. Must be AFTER you get all 4 spirits.
3. Get to the bottom of aer krene to level up the sorcery ring to lvl 4.
4. Get the fell arms Nebilim from the treasure chest in the furthest map in the forest of Keiv Moc. Burn the bushes that block the path.
5. Get the fell arms Uroborg and Susanoh from the chest in the final dungeon.
--a. You may find the following steps easier with the Sorcerer's ring lvl 5, but only lvl 4 is required. to get level 5, go to any other rock formation aer krene in the world, and it'll level up in the spring.
--b. Fight your way through the dungeon up the tower to the stone cavern. Activate ALL blastia here and then follow the path east. You will be outside the cavern and at the stairs of the tower again. Go down until you are back at the blue stairs area again.
--c. follow the short path, across the air bridge, to a glyph, which you can walk across to get to a new area with ladders and platforms. Solve the simple puzzle without too much worry.
--d. eventually you will find another glyph. Follow it out of the ladder puzzle temporarily and you will find yourself in the blue stairs again. Go through this area and you'll find yourself in a red stairs area. The two fell arms can easily be found here.
--e. This would be a great time to backtrack to the caves and escape the dungeon. Go up the stairs near the final save point and you will be able to go to the left to an elevator, which will unlock all other elevators. Take it to level 1 and get on Ba'ul.
6. Once you have at least 4 of the fell arms, an event will occur when you board Ba'ul.
7. Defeat the Chimera Butterfly in Quoi Woods (if you haven't already), then get the fell arms Glasya Labolas from the chest to the left of the tree. You need to burn the brush (with the lvl 4/5 ring) near the north entrance to reach this area.
8 Get the Magic Sword Mercurius from the chest by going down the lower west road at Relewiese. Just go down the hill southwest of the healing savepoint and the return warp. It's a short path to the sword.
9. Once you've collected 7 magic swords, an event will occur when you board Ba'ul again.
10. Return to Auronion. An event will occur when you enter Auronion. (If another event occurs instead, leave and come back)
11. When you get to the last battle with the final boss, an event will occur wherein you unleash the power of the magic swords. This will happen after you defeat his second form.

WHAT Aer Krene? This is unspecific. Do you mean the bundle of rocks with ??? or the Aer Krene in the Weasand of Cados. Be specific. Other people will want to know. _________________ Support XSEED | Listen to Falcom music | Do life the right way

It IS the rocks.
Once you have access to them, they are called Aer Krene which is why they are refered to as such.
The ??? rocks = Aer Krene. _________________ Chroche Latel Pastalie's #1 fan! [Ar tonelico Fansite]

Geez, getting the last 2 in Tarq took like an hour and a half almost, and thats having finished the dungeon already...
You may wanna note that you don't have to backtrack to get out after grabbing those 2. _________________

While the weapons do convert over their uberness ie attack power does NOT since all 7 will still have a Attack power stat of zero unless the 3rd form of the final boss is killed.
Killing the 3rd form still applies for a 2nd+ completion of the game, |

Once again, I'm stumped.
I have the four spirits, Abyssion, and the level four Sorcerer's Ring, but entering any of the other aer krene caves doesn't yield level five. Nothing happens.
Anyone able to help? |

Maybe you need a certain number of Fell Arms. Maybe you have to get to the last room of Tarqaron? _________________ The Graces Gods

Nah, you should be able to trigger the event once you've collected Abyssion and the Four Spirits. Zarich isn't located in Tarqaron. It's tucked away behind a blastable rock in the Aer Krene SW of Nordipolica.
The only Fell Arms weapons you get in Tarqaron are the Caldabolg and the Energy Wand. _________________

Huh? Those are normal weapons, the Fell Arms you get there are the Uroboros and the Susanou.
And let me get this straight...when you carry them over, not only to they start back at 0 (expected that), but they DON'T gain 1 ATP with every kill until you beat the 3rd form of the final boss again (unexpected)?!
Those things are utterly useless if so, hopefully that's just worded wrong. |

That's not how it works.
First of all, the locked Fell Arms have an average attack power and a shortened name. When you first get Yuri's, it's called the Abyssion and has a good basic power that's comparable to a lot of the swords during the ending of part 2. When you beat the third form of the final boss, the power unlocks, the innate attack value reduces to 0, skills get added to the Abyssion and the Mercurius, the names get extended (Blazor Edge Abyssion, Soul Blade Mercurius, etc.), and the weapon appearances change. At this point, the attack value is based on kills, not on the innate attack values the weapons carried before powering up.
Now, when you start a new game via the grade shop and carry over the Fell Arms, you get the unlocked forms, like Blazor Edge Abyssion rather than Abyssion. What you can't carry over is your kill count, so your weapons start at an attack value of 0. This doesn't mean that the weapons aren't unlocked. It means they're unlocked but carry no attack value until you start killing enemies in the new game. They're still very useful since they'll pretty quickly outclass some of the better weapons as long as you kill a lot of people. _________________

Well, I got all 7 Fell Arms weapons. Does this not work in Easy Mode? Because I tried to board Ba'ul and go to Arnion. But there was no scene of whatsoever.
So, do I need to do this on Normal? _________________

Very helpful info, Lunar. I have two questions in regards to kill counts though. Is the total kill count added to each fell arm, or is, say, Yuri's kill count added to Yuri's fell arm only? And do the kills have to be made with the fell arms themselves, or can I use a better weapon until the fell arms are powered up enough? _________________ "Well I'm over twice your age, so of course I know twice as many things." -Raven
