I know. I just could make him only cast spells like Genis! And you do love to draw. I haven't drawn in a while (like 3-4 months), but even if I did I can't psot them because I don't have a scanner. But anyways, here's the crossover skit with Darkness (for those of you who are reading anyway.) The chapter should be up by at least the end of this week, I promise!

Darkness x Glory Crossover: Introduction

Elnie: I like to do these skits, who are we gonna work this time?

Saku: Who cares!? Let's get this over with!

Lyzerg: Alright! We get to do it with two gorgeous ladies!

Ridus: You always hit on women.

Elnie: Hello! Are you the ones we are going to work with?

Saku: Ugh... More men...

Ridus: Yes! My name is Ridus Lateran. Nice to meet you.

Elnie: I am Elnie Heilen, nice to meet you!

Saku: ...

Elnie: And she is Saku.

Lyzerg: Oh. She's a fierce one. I like it!

Ridus: This pervert over here is Lyzerg. Don't mind him. He's always trying to hit on women.

Saku: Don't play innocent, I know you are like him!

Ridus: Wha...What?!? Of course not!! I never do anything perverted!

Lyzerg: Oh is that so? well should I bring up a certain incident Scarlette told me about you-(gagged)

Ridus: Hehe we don't need to share that here and now.

Saku: Ugh! I knew it! All the men are a bunch of pigs!

Elnie: Don't say that! Not all the men are the same.

Ridus:Thank you Elnie. At least someone believes me.

Lyzerg:Well whatver. So Elnie, did anyone ever tell you you have the most beautiful pink hair?

Elnie: Someone did say that.

Saku: And I'm tired of it...

Lyzerg: Well, that's probably why Saku seems repulsed by most men, because they always talk to Elnie and not her?

Ridus:Then lets find a way to make Saku more likeable.

Saku: No thanks! I don't want to be followed by a group of men!

Elnie: But you are already in a group with men.

Saku: With them is enough...

Ridus: Come on! It wouldn't hurt to open up to men a bit. We're actually quite nice.

Saku: Trying to make your move on me, huh? You better stay away before I kill you!

Ridus: That's it! I'm done with this! Bring it on you damn man hater!

Elnie: Please! Don't fight! We are friends, and friends don't fight!

Saku: Humph... He wasn't worthy of my time anyway...

Ridus: Like hell I'll ever be friends with someone like her! In fact... (draws sword) let do this right now!

Lyzerg: Fine, you two fight, I'll be with Elnie! Oh Elnie <3

And now finally, here is the next chapter. Sorry it took me so long.

Chapter 9-The Purpose


Ridus woke up before the rest of the party, albeit he woke up in the middle of the night. He took of his bandages and saw all his wounds were fully healed. Before, when he got injured from sword practice in the academy, his serious wounds took long to heal, but this, when he had serious wounds then he had ever had, they healed in one night.

He got out of bed and saw his Knight of Orealon uniform at the end of the bed. He looked at it, hesitant to pick it up. “I’m not even a knight anymore. A knight doesn’t attack his own kind. A knight doesn’t threaten those helping him.” He took the undershirt from the uniform and walked right past it towards the door. He went outside and saw that the streets were still pretty empty. The sun was just rising and gave the town an orange glow.

He never had the chance to really look at the city. It was beautiful; the buildings were in uniform with the pattern going white to brown. The streets were made of stone instead dirt like it was in Cuire. He walked down the street, just taking in the beauty of this town. As he walked, he decided do some of the practicing for his ether that Scarlette had taught him last night.

He closed his eyes and he focused on the space in between his hands. He could feel the light forming, but he didn’t want to open his eyes or else he would lose concentration. He then walked right into a metal fence, making him fall back and lose concentration. He shook his head and looked at the fence. It said in big black letters: “Entrance in prohibited”. He looked beyond the fence and a saw a large chasm with a transparent dome around it. He wondered what it was, but decided not to cause any trouble.
On his way back to the hotel, the streets slowly began to fill with people. The people all gave Ridus cold glares as they walked by. What did he do? He decided to ignore them and continued walking towards the hotel.
When he entered, Scarlette and Lauren were already awake, along with Athena, who was getting herself ready. Scarlette noticed him come from outside. “Don’t tell me you went outside by yourself?” she asked.

“Yeah, what’s wrong with that?” he asked he back.

“The people of this town would have had all of our heads on a platter if we weren’t with Athena. That’s the only reason why they gave us the free room and even allowed us into the city.” she said, which explained all the glares he had gotten before.

“Opps. Sorry. I never knew word about us being wanted got around so quickly.” he said.

“Whatever. Well anyway, everyone is awake anyway right? Let’s discuss what we’re going to do now.” she said. She walked into the room where Athena was, and Lauren and Ridus followed suit.

Scarlette sat at the table across from where Athena was sitting. “Alright,” she began. “We have decided what to do with you. We will let you go back to Lavalir, as long as revoked our status as wanted criminals. It won’t matter right away though because we plan to go to Natura.”
Athena did not respond right away.

She put her had to her chin. “I’m afraid I cannot do that.” she replied.

“What do you mean?” questioned Scarlette. Lauren and Ridus too had puzzled looks on their faces.

“I received a letter from one of the soldier this morning, stating that King Rico Salvat III has been murdered,” she said, her tone even.

Ridus’ eyes widened in shock. “What?!? Who would do that?!” he asked, raising his voice.

“They believe it was someone of Elven descent. A direct order from the Princesses stated that I am to immediately look into that case. And since you are also going to Natura, it would be most convenient for me to go with you as well.”

Scarlette thought about her answer before responding. “Very well.” she said.

“How do we know we can trust you? That you won’t take us out while our backs are turned?” questioned Ridus, narrowing his eyes at her.

“I can’t force you to trust me,” she said, her tone unchanging. “Besides, you won’t be able to pass the Athern Border without some sort of way to identify yourselves and why you need to cross the border.”

Ridus still didn’t trust her fully, but he had no other choice. “Fine.” he replied dully. He turned towards Scarlette. “Before we go, I have some business to take care of, and I’m going to need so gald.”

“Alright.” she said. “She tossed him a bag filled with gald. “Buy what you need, and also buy Athena a new bow and some arrows.” Ridus was about to protest, but she cut him off. “You have to since you’re the one who broke her bow, remember?”

Ridus cursed under his breath and walked towards the door. “But wait for all of us to come.” she said. “Remember, the people of this town trust us only because we are with Athena.”

“Alright. I’m waiting at the door.” he said. He walked out the door. Once he went to the door, he saw Demilion standing there. “Hey Demilion, how come you woke up so late?” he asked.

“Oh hey Ridus.” he said cheerily. “I’m a late sleeper I guess.” he replied. “So when do we set off to the border?” he asked, grinning widely.

“Wha…What?! How did you know?! We only decided that this morning?”

“I’ll never tell!” he exclaimed. “It’s my little secret.” he said, petting Relex on top of his head. The bird gave a low screech each time.

The streets of Alsace were now bustling with activity. People were everywhere, walking in and out of store. Other stood chatting about random things. “So what were you planning to buy anyway Ridus?” asked Demilion.

“I need some new attire.” he said, his eyes still glued to the streets of Alsace.

“What’s wrong with the one you have now?” questioned Scarlette emptily.

“Nothing. I just don’t think it suits me.” he said, making sure to avoid eye contact. He didn’t feel like he had to tell them the reason why he didn’t want to wear it.

They came to a stop at a store with the title ‘Elegance’ on it. “You can buy your clothes here.” said Athena.

“Alright.” he said. He turned to the rest of the party. “You guys can wait out here, or just wander around if you want. We’ll meet up at the front gates.”

“Well, give me the gald so I can purchase my new bow.” said Athena, sticking out her hand. Ridus poured several gold coins into her hand. She grabbed them and shoved them into her pocket.

“I’ll come with you just to make sure nothing goes wrong.” said Scarlette.

“I wanna come too!” exclaimed Lauren.

“No. Stay with Athena and Demilion until we meet in the front okay?”

“Fine.” she said in a whiney voice.

“Then we’ll meet you there.” she walked into the store before Ridus, while he followed her lead.

The store wasn’t all that big, but it has clothes everywhere. All types from casual to special occasions. One costume caught his eyes as he looked around. It was some sort of jacket with short sleeves. It was white and had gold outlining all around. There was a big brown belt around the middle part where the torso should be. He took it off the wall and looked at it intensely. “Go try it on.” insisted Scarlette, pointing to the dressing room across from where they were. He took it there and put it on.

He walked out of the room and looked at himself in the mirror. He thought it looked good on him. “What do you think?” he asked Scarlette.

She looked at him interested eyes. “It looks good on you.” she said sarcastically.

“Yeah yeah yeah, let’s just go buy.” he said, going to the counter where an old man stood.

“Well, it really does look good on him.” said Scarlette to herself. She walked to the front with him.

The man greeted them both with a smile. “How are you two today?” he asked.

“Good.” replied Ridus with as much courtesy as possible. “I would like to buy this outfit.” he said, pointing to the clothes he was wearing.

“Hmm, let’s see,” he said looking at the clothes Ridus wore. “This is 2,000 gald please.”

Ridus reached into his pocket and threw the gold coins on the counter. “There you go sir.” he said happily.

The man counted the coins. “No, thank you. And for being such a courtesy customer, you can have these for free.” he said. He threw Ridus a pair of black and gold gloves.

“Thank you so much sir.” he said happily. He waved to the man as he and Scarlette walked out the store. He looked at his new clothes with gleaming eyes. “Wow, these clothes fit so nice.” Scarlette looked at him, as if wanting to ask a question. “What is it?” he asked.

“Ridus, what do you plan to do now?” she asked, this with a small hint of worry in her voice. “Everyone has some purpose and that’s why we are all going to Natura, but you just seem to just tag a long without reason.” she said.

Ridus gave a small laugh. “Well, there’s nothing else for me to do with my life right now. I might as well help the people that are around me.” he said smiling.

Scarlette gave him a small smile back. “Alright. As long as you have something to drive you along, then that’s fine with me.”

With that said, they walked together towards the gates of the city, to meet with the rest of their companions, and travel to the Elven continent, Natura.

Shoping time!! Guess Ridus must be feeling too sad right now, and Athena seems to have good sources of information to know early than anyone that the king was dead, and thatn Demilion I bet his trick has to do with his little pet.

By the way, since Ridus is going to change of clothes, does that mean you will probably want a new art for him, right?
