Yeah, that's what bugged me! I couldn't draw him 12 year old like, because I'm used to drawing older people. ^_^

Genis looks awesome! The pose looks great as well! I used to have OpenCanvas, I love that program for coloring. Great job!

That's VERY good. You could fill in the eyes in though.

Its very good but like beanbean said you need to fill in the eyes.Both the pictures of yours that I've seen are good but have a zombie look to them.

I don't fill in the eyes when it's a sketch, but once I color it, then I'll fill it in. The reason why the previous one looked like zombie-ish was I don't fill in the pupils too dark, because I just do it that way, but since Genis has faded bluish eyes, I try and make the pupils sort of fade in with the rest of the eyes. It's just my style. ^_^

Hmm, it could be the face shape, and the eye size. Genis looks about Lloyd's age. Though I don't know if he'd still play with a kendama at Lloyd's age. o_O

I really like his pose, though. It makes the picture interesting! Very Happy

I got to agree, that is one nice drawing. All I got to say is it's all in the eyes, just look at an artwork of Genis and see how his eyes are, I figure that why he kind of looks mature.

Everyone has their own style of drawing, I have my own as well, so I understand what you mean. ^_^
I usually leave the eyes of my creations blank as well, then I color it in later in photoshop or by color pencils.
On to more compliments!
I love the pose!! It really does make the drawing more interesting, keep at it! *thumbs up!*
