I thought they were waiting for E3, but they unveiled LittleBigPlanet 2. Despite concerns that it would be detrimental to the original game, LBP2 will be backwards compatible with all of the previous levels. It looks more of the same, but with expanded tools and the ability to add Sackbots to populate the game as NPC or enemies. The game also allows for users to create their own control scheme so you don't need to be controlling Sackboy like the first game.

First LBP was fun for a while but the novelty died off really fast, then it got boring.

Can't say I look forward to this.

Not only that, the controls were unresponsive. So it got boring and frustrating.

There is a slight lag, but it's mostly due to the physics. There was a bit of that in NSMBWii as well. It's only boring if you don't download fan made levels.

There's also a new trailer for the campaign. I enjoyed the levels that came with the original game, but now that they make more use of gadget and such, it should be even more entertaining.

This exactly. What a shame.
But I know a friend who will buy this, so I'll try it out.
