I thought it might be nice to have a thread like this, especially considering the other thread is over 1000 pages long and is like a god damn FG thread in growth, plus Hero is largely inactive. So anyways, you can use this thread to set up and discuss any matches you had/are going to have against people. I am also planning to start doing some casual netplay tournaments in the next few days or next week, so if anyone has any ideas about it feel free to post it here. I'll keep a friend code list on the front page for convenience, but be sure to post it in the stickied thread as well.

Protip for netplay: If you are having problems connecting to people, or are disconnected often, and you run your wifi through a router, try setting the router to DMZ for your Wii. DMZ basically opens all ports and gives open access at the cost of firewall and other protection, but seeing as you can't really hack a Wii or give it viruses, this isn't an issue. The set up is different for all routers so I can't give a specific walkthrough, but try www.portforward.com and look up your router. Also, in order to see what IP your router logs your Wii as, check the DHCP section in your router setup. Host name should just be "Wii", so you should have no trouble finding it.


Nontoxic sez: This guide has no use if you use DMZ. If you cannot figure out how to DMZ or if you're using DMZ for something else, try the guide.
