Suzu's RM3 MA!!


Description:
From GBA ToP game guide: "A ninja that lives in Ninja Village. She has difficulty expressing her emotions, and had a harsh upbringing,which conflicts with her innocent nature."

Suzu(from Tales of Phantasia) comes from the Ninja Village, Japoni, in the Treant Forest. ***MAJOR SPOILERS*** Her parents were brainwashed by Dhaos's minions, and they were forced to fight Cless in the colisuem, and they kill each other to save Suzu from having to do it.(unless when you fight them, you lose, then Suzu has to do it to put them at peace, so try your best to win) ***END SPOILERS*** She is very serious. but underneath she's a normal little girl, she struggles with trying to be serious and trying listen to her heart, after traveling with Cress, Mint, Klarth, Arche, and Chester, she learns how to smile, and to listen to her heart a little bit, even if it means not completly being a ninja, even her parents' letter at the end of her trial sidequest, says that even if she's not cut out to be a ninja, she should still push forward as herself(something along those lines i believe) her parents knew she was a kind person and that she would struggle with steeling her heart.

Suzu is very intelligent, especially considering her age, and she has a strong body and mind. It is shown, from what I know of ND1, that Suzu really does go on to become chief, and the seperation with her friends in the past helped her to grow up and understand feelings and stopped confusing herself. Suzu seems to be shy around strangers and acts very business like, but her curiousity has been shown to get the best of her in the spin-off games. She does not like bringing other people into her problems, and she cares about her village greatly. I am not up to date on NDX as of yet, but hopefully I can upgrade this section.

Also, Suzu said that she prefers desserts while tasting curry in a side event, and it is a running gag in fandom that she adores sweets. Suzu also has a title when you obtain her that she seems to have a crush on someone, which seems to be Cress. Mostly, it seems, coming from the fact Cress was able to make her parents come to their senses for a brief moment. This also makes sense as he is oblivious and cares for her like any other little girl.

Suzu's relationship with Arche is that Arche is always asking her questions about being a ninja, and is always amazed at what Suzu has to say, sometimes telling her to lighten up.

It has also been shown that Suzu is exasperated and confused by Arche and Chester's arguements, and is sometimes the centre of arguements, when Chester makes fun of Arche being amazed by Suzu, or yelling at her for treating Suzu oddly.

Mint cares about Suzu like she would any of the party members, maybe more so because she is a child and because she acts so grown up.

Klarth doesn't pay her any more attention to her then the others, but he does sympathize with her past and feels that she shouldn't have to deal with so much being so young. He is very relaxed and doesn't have qualms getting her to do things like bring him food while at the hot springs in the Ninja Village.

Flare Blitz (Manjushage)-she throws three shuriken covered in Fire

Omega Storm (Kamaitachi)-(best imo)multiple slashes of wind(very useful and powerful)

Mirror Image-Creates a transparent Suzu that attacks along with you at the same time

Secret Thief (Shiranui)-Steals an item

Crow Blade (Izuna Otoshi)-Suzu jumps up then spins downward with her knife out until she lands

Shadow Storm-escape from battle

Merciless Thunder (Raiden)- throws a charged dagger and lightning falls down on it

Hell Rush (Samidare)-(third best attack imo) a big combo, it sometimes misses the last few hits because it ends in the air and the enemy doesn't always get knocked upwards

Jiraiya-summons a giant toad that breathes fire(second best imo, it can be interupted for a brief second)

She's one of my favourite to play as too, but I just wish she joined at Volt's Cave in atleast one version, so that you could play as her for more events, and that she learned more techs. Actually, most of favourite characters are female except Jay, Reid, and Judas, but Suzu is my most favorite

Which of Suzu's techs is your favourite? Mine's Jiryaya, you want to hurt Suzu?, Sick 'em Giant flame-throwing toad! (though i don't know if she got new techs in PSP version, I didn't get her yet)
