Give everyone an alternate skill. Or something like a burst art. Ya know, I'm pretty sure there was a Tales game that had Hi - Ougis and then a special skill that was even more powerful and cooler above the Hi - Ougi. I don't care how its done; I just wanna see Stephen setting of an H-bomb. That would be awsome.

And while I'm on topic...
Ilia's special whatever could be a one two punch combo of elemental & black magicks.
Felix could just go completly insane and beat the crap outta someone with a giant sword.
Cymbalyne ( I can't spell!) could... become intelligent for a limited amount of time, and... go ninja and pound the crap outta someone with black magic (jutsu) fists o' fury (taijutsu) and... dragonling powers? (genjutsu?)
I need to think of something extra special for Raven and Elsynne.

I guess IRL Stephen might live in Nevada, or he could work for the government... (for some reason I've always imagined him as a chemistry-type teacher or something...they get to mess with dangerous chemicals anyway :'D) But I wonder what everyone else would do/where they would live?

Skit: Your Own Two Eyes

Harriette: Ah…there’s something I’ve wanted to discuss with you.

Elsynne: What is it?

Harriette: I’ve been speaking with the doctors back home lately, and they’ve been testing different theories and surgeries and such…

Elsynne: (sigh) Please, Harriette, I don’t want to discuss this again.

Harriette: No, this isn’t about our mother’s memory! This is about me.

Elsynne: …You?

Harriette: They think they’ve finally found some kind of operation that might help me see.

Elsynne: See? With your eyes?

Harriette: No, with my ears.

Elsynne: Eh?

Harriette: Of course with my eyes. What else could I see with?

Elsynne: I-I’m sorry. You’ve never mentioned looking into this kind of thing before…I was surprised, I guess.

Harriette: I understand. But, I was thinking about considering it…you know, it might be useful…

Elsynne: I thought you didn’t mind being blind. Besides, you still fight well even without your eyesight. You manage to get around.

Harriette: But it’s still a liability to me regardless. I’m traveling with you now and I want to be able to completely defend myself if something were to happen. But…

Elsynne: But?

Harriette: I don’t know if I want to see… There are some things I’d rather stay blind to.

Elsynne: Oh…

Harriette: I’ll still think about the procedure the doctors offered. Although here are a lot of factors to consider...

Elsynne: We probably won’t be going home for quite some time anyway. Sleep on it for a while.

Harriette: I know. I will.

Elsynne: (Some things she doesn’t want to see…? I wonder…)

It's been a while since I posted anything to forums.

I just finished reading every single chapter so far, and my eyes are killing me. For three days I've been staring nonstop at the PC screen. Glad it was worth of it. Hopefully my story will turn out to be as magnificent as yours is, which I highly doubt anyway...

But my constructive critic: ilu Roadie. ♥

Are you going to continue writing after Tales of Cadence is finished? :O

Thanks for comments on the skit. <3 I'll be working on a questionnaire (hopefully) soon, and I still have the black magic crap lined up if anyone's interested in that.

Swordmaster: Writing for a blind person started off kind of difficult -- I was really used to referring to eyes for emotions, etc and I couldn't do that with Harriette -- but now it's actually kind of fun. Writing from her perspective is a fun challenge, too; I can't refer to things she sees so I have to rely on her other senses and such.

I'll definitely keep writing after I've finished ToC. I love writing too much to drop it. Although I won't be working on any more Tales fanstories (unless I do decide to rewrite one of my older ones; that's an idea I'm still entertaining) I'll keep writing original stories and stuff like that.

And now, something we've been promising for a long time but haven't had a chance to get to until recently...

A One Heart and Cadence crossover. This time featuring both Elea Hart and Stephen Rosner. Yoru and I hope you enjoy. <3


Two years ago, there was a love story that transcended the universe...

With the correct alignment of the stars, the Moonlight Travelling Entertainment Troupe (MTET) find themselves in a new, unfamiliar world; the technology and mannerisms of the people seem recognizable, but the land and the populace are alien. But, according to Elea “the show must go on”, and the MTET set their sights on a new destination – Brancove.

Although they reach Brancove with no trouble, the truck breaks down and comes to a stop on the city streets. The civilians are confused; since vehicles are considered relatively new technology for the people of Brancove, none of the local repairmen are familiar enough with the truck to be able to properly fix it. One mechanic seems willing to help – a man by the name of Stephen Rosner steps up and offers to take a look at the engine.

Stephen and Elea talk for a while and find out that they have several interests in common – neither has met anyone else outside of their respective countries that share their unique customs. But Elea and the girls in the MTET still seem foreign to Stephen; Elea later tells him about her own world, Orbus Verus. Both are intrigued rather than surprised by their differences and spend the next few days getting to know each other better.

When the stars have aligned once more Elea and the MTET prepare to depart back to their own world. Both Stephen and Elea are reluctant to part, but Elea leaves with the promise that they are destined to meet again; “It’s in the stars, after all.”

Perhaps not in this lifetime, but...
