Nice banner there.
I dunno. Aelph was the life and soul of this fanclub. I still don't even know why she left without saying anything - I do miss her quite a lot and I think everyone can agree that the Keele FC isn't much without her enthusiasm. Does anyone know how she is? And why she left?
I miss this FC - athough the posting was so fast I was often confined to just reading rather than contributing .
/sigh .. coming here makes me happy but also very sad because we no longer have that amazing experience.

It's true... pretty much everyone's abandoned this place since Aelph left. It's like wandering a ghost town, coming back. Ah, memories... Dissecting large posts and putting them into quote boxes, and replying to each segment individually... I miss that. And long discussions about the finer points of Eternia's storyline, too. This was the only thread in which I had lengthy discussions about... anything, pretty much.
I do feel sad to see it end. I don't think there's ever been a place on the boards quite like the Keele FC. _________________

Do you have any idea why Aelph left though? I didn't know her as well as others did but I would still have considered her my friend - I got the impression that she loved it here, so dunno why she quit.
Oh gosh, I really need to play Eternia again though I'm a bit scared to pick it up and play, because that will get me all nostalgic and I'll become melancholic _________________ Immortal until proven otherwise. |

I see no reason why we can't keep this fanclub alive, even if Aelph left. Keele is still one of my favorite characters and he's the only "non-main" character in the series, to get the girl he likes. I'm always rooting for the underdogs. It's no fun for the main characters to only get the love. _________________

No, 'fraid not- sorry. I don't know anything about it.
I would be all for keeping the fanclub alive, but no-one seems to be interested in coming any more, and I don't think it'll ever be the same as when Aelph was here. _________________

Pro-Meredy, Pro-Keele, Espeon~ (Espeon had a baby recently too. Meet little Leafeon. <3) |
Ah, yes... The "Anti-Meredy War", as I like to call it. In which the legions of Pro-Lolis battled Iolite and her right-hand man Lazaka... |
So that's how I'm remembered around here, huh? By being anti-loli?... Fair nuff. I'm not going to complain.
....Yeah. Anyway... _________________

Pretty much summed it up. Are there any other active communities for Eternia discussion/fandom? Surely there must be one somewhere. _________________ Immortal until proven otherwise. |

Having just finished my first run of Eternia, I would love to know this as well. |

Well, I've completed Eternia, wanna discuss anything? I mean, may as well considering there doesn't seem to be anywhere else - had a little look yesterday.
Who knows, maybe a couple of people may return to this thread. _________________ Immortal until proven otherwise. |

*sneaks in*
I'd give anything for this club to become lively again. This place was always filled with ripe discussion of everything ToE, even stuff not having to do with Keele.
I'd also like to use this as another opportunity to selflessly plug my story again. If you like ToE and have a little bit of knowledge about ToD2, I recommend reading it. It's kinda lengthy, though. ToE story wise, the story has just gotten past the part of the story where they first fight Shizel and Ras dies. And I really took an artistic license with that part, so I'd like to hear from some diehard Eternia fans if this way works better than Ras just randomly running in at the last second to save the day and sacrifice himself. Yeah, I need more readers... XD

Okay. (Just be sure you have at least an hour or two free if you're starting from the beginning. ) _________________

How little ToD2 knowledge? Does skimmed a wiki article or two, and saw a translation of a tales of Fandom Harold hosted count?
man, sounds like i got involved in this one too late...not about to tackle the 1000+ pages of this thread, but if it was anything like the bit of the Balir one I skimmed... |

Considering I haven't even played ToD2 myself, not much. You should know the characters (good and bad, but there's only two bad characters that are focused on and one of them is Barbatos, so...) and how they relate to one another (such as the main pairings are KylexReala and LonixNanaly or that Kyle and Loni are practically brothers) and just basic knowledge, really. There might be a few spoilers in my chapters, but it's really not much. I think the biggest thing I "spoil" is that Judas is Leon Magnus (as if it's not obvious anyways).
The story is more ToE-centric, so you don't have to worry about knowing ToD2's story line (which for the ToD2 arc of the story I really kinda fudged anyways). :3 _________________
