I once tried to make a gif of Gar doing some random attacks...couldn't get it to work right...

Hehe, yup. It took HOURS, and I'm never do it again.
But yeah, it takes lots of time and patience to animate. And a good eye for movment...
Do you use Photoshop and ImageReady? If so, I can walk you through it. ...Why didn't it look right, just out of curiosity's sake?

I actually used Flash.
My brother copied & pasted Flash over to my PC for me to mess around with..
The problem was, that I couldn't get the sprites to stay on the "floor" I should say.
I always got them misaligned, and it looked really bad in the end

Thank you. It took me 8 hours...
It was originally going to be the whole Tales cast, from every game out that had sprites. But I didn't have enough time or patience to do them all....
