Everyone has different tastes. I like Legendia the most out of the NA releases, but a lot of people hate it.

Anyway, I don't like that someone involved with Tempest is involved in this. That bothers me a little ... Of course, one of the worst parts of Tempest was the battle system, so since the battle system for this was already pretty much established with Abyss, I suppose it can't turn out to be all that bad, can it?

I'm sure it'll be good. As you said "it can't turn out to be all that bad". I totally agree.

So you like Legendia most out of the NA releases? I've actually been playing it like crazy the past few days XD I want to finish those character quests ^^;

Will you actually walk through the World Map or you just choose the destination and the characters suddenly appear there? (like pokemon colosseum)

...Can't believe there are people who believe there shouldn't be at least 1 negative opinion about new Tales games. Do some of you guys expect us to embrace all the games they release? Because that's the impression I'm getting here.

All I'm worried about, is how bad the plot is going to be in this game. And how much alike it is compared to Abyss/Radiant Mythology.

Um, looks to be the latter. Not that I've ever had a problem with that. The world map is always just a whole lot of nothing anyway.

But there are monsters wandering in the World Map and they're a great opportunity for getting EXP without getting bored. At least in my opinion.

Agreed. I actually liked ToS's world map, as there was a lot to do on it and it gave you such a better sense of the world. I could have said the same about Abyss's, but no chests+being a glitch fest ruined that option.

What's the difference between fighting on the map and fighting just inside a dungeon? To me, ToS's world map was boring and fairly ugly to boot. The black blob enemies didn't do anything to help either.

Ugly I don't agree with, but the geographical aspect of the world map wasn't that inspiring. Too much of Sylvarant was left to be a sprawling green vacuum. Tethe'alla had a much more interesting layout. But I'm not too broken up about not being able to wander around on a world map, because it's just the sign of the times- I think traditional world maps aren't long for the RPG world. Confused
