Let's start with this: Lloyd can't be any more "evil" than the average Tales badguy. So, basically, he'd be grossly misguided and tragic.
Or he could be mind controlled.
Or he could be an impersonator of some kind. (Killia anyone?)
Or he could be just being forced along against his will.
Etc. |

I really don't understand how Lloyd's ideals can change so drastically in two, three years. He's definitely being manipulated in one way or another.

That one is the one to make more sense. All signs are pointing at Colette right now, and you know how much Lloyd loves her. If anything it's doing those things to keep her alive.

But Colette and co are joining Emil as well. That would mean that everyone except Lloyd turned evil, which is even worse.
